Amane was looking through his clothing one morning, searching for an outfit to wear for the cold winter that was outside. But since he and his wife, Nene, put their clothes in the same closet, it would make sense that he would find the next strange accessories. Two reindeer headbands.
Upon closer inspection he saw that the one's color was darker than the other. He didn't know why, but he imagined Nene wearing one of these on her head and looking cute, making him squeal inside.
Amane. turned to the closet to see his jacket, which was the same dark shade of brown as the one headband. The same was said for the other headband.
This gave him an idea. One that he hoped his wife wouldn't kill him for.

. . .

Nene rubbed her hands against her arms, hoping it would warm her. She heard footsteps from the stairs, and knew it was obviously her husband. "Morning, Amane..." Nene's words got caught in her throat when she saw Amane look relatively normal, save for the antlers on his head. "Morning, Dear", he said, giving her a kiss on the lips. "Amane, have you..." "Gotten a haircut? Not yet. I might do that soon. This strand right here is getting really annoying."
Nene grumbled. She could tell by her lover's voice that he was being a tease. "Amane!" The said man giggled cheekily and poked his wife's cheek. "You're so fun to play with." He pointed at his headband he was wearing. "You have an interesting taste in fashion, by the way."

Nene blushed. "I was saving them for the kids when they got older." "But for now, they are all ours", giggled Amane. "Speaking of kids, I bet they will be waking up right about..."
As if on cue, the sound of an infant's groan came from the nursery. "Now." Amane walked over to the direction where his children resided, but not before handing the second headband over to Nene. "Do whatever you want with it." Nene looked at the accessory, and fidgeted with it a bit before placing it on her head. She walked in the direction her husband went.

She peeked past the door and saw her lover picking up their two year old son Ogata by the arms, while their recently born daughter Akari was still fast asleep. Nene cleared her throat, which caught the attention of Amane. "You look cute." "What? That's all you have to say?" "Well, look at me. I'm wearing clothes to go with it." The white haired woman inspected her husband, and only noticed now his brown colored outfit. "I'll be right back."
Amane chuckled and continued playing with his son. It took only about a minute before Nene returned wearing a light brown coat.
"How do I look now?" "Like an adorable little reindeer."

Akari began to stir in her sleep, alerting Nene. "I've got it." The couple held their kids, who smiled at their outfit choice. "Hey, I've got a question", said Amane. "Hm?", responded Nene. "Do we have any reindeer outfits in the kids' size?"
Nene began to think. "I do remember the little Santa onesie my parents gave Ogata." "And Akari?" "We'll have to look." Amane pointed out the door. "Then onward, Dasher!" "Wait, why am I Dasher?" "He was the first reindeer to come to mind."
Nene sighed. "Then onward, Blitzen."
