"Here you go", said the barista as he handed the two cups of coffee over to Rumi, who took them and payed. She made her way outside, where her husband was standing while on his phone.
She cleared her throat, catching the attention of her lover. "I believe this is for you." Tenko smiled and took his cup. "Thank you, fair lady."
"You seriously did not just call me that." Tenko shrugged and took a sip of coffee. He then cringed at the taste. "Um, Rumi? Are you sure this is my coffee? It tastes a little..."

Rumi sipped her coffee as well, and noticed that it also tasted a bit... different. They swapped their cups, and then things were fixed. The two lovers have been together long enough to know each other's preferred coffee. Tenko drank without sugar, while Rumi drank with.

"Now that's better", said Rumi. The couple sat down together on a bench. "This is nice. Just the two of us", said Tenko. "Yeah. Don't get me wrong, I love our kids, but they sure take a lot out of you", said Rumi.

"No kidding. I don't think my arms can take picking up for another week." "Hey, they just really love their daddy." Tenko chuckled. "Not as much as they love their awesome mom." The rabbit hero smirked. "I am pretty awesome, huh?", she said and took a sip of her coffee. "By the way, you sure it was smart to leave the boys with Hawks?" "Keigo has four kids. Even if he has a hard time, Fuyumi's there to help him." "Yeah, probably", said Tenko as he took a sip of his coffee.

Rumi sighed. "I can't believe they're starting kindergarten next week." "You make it sound like it's a bad thing." The woman groaned. "It just means they're growing up too fast!" Tenko smiled and hugged his wife close. "So? If they get a little older, they're still going to be our kids. And Haine will definitely still be your fierce little rabbit."
Rumi smiled. "Yeah. You're right. And Tsukine will always be my cute soft bunny." Tenko kissed his lover on her head while she sipped her coffee, then she decided to rest her head onto his shoulder, but not before lowering her ears, of course.

The married couple continued to drink their coffee, then decided to head home. "Hey, think we should get Haine and Tsukine something from the coffee shop?", asked Tenko. "Like what? Coffee? I'm pretty sure their still too young for that." "You know what I mean, Rumi."

The white haired woman chuckled and went into the coffee shop with her husband. They ordered two donuts for their children.

. . .

The door opened, and two twin boys ran to their parents. "And how are my two boys?", asked Rumi. "They were pretty chill", said Keigo. "That's because our twins are equally wild, honey", said Fuyumi.

"Well, as long as they behaved", said Tenko, looking at his sons who gave him smiles.

The Shimura family greeted the Kagami family and made their way home.

"Boys, we got you something", said Tenko. Tsukine and Haine waited excitedly. Rumi pulled out two bags and handed them over the twins, who saw the donuts that were in them.

"Now what do we say?", said the rabbit hero. "Thanks Mom! Thanks Dad! You're the best!", the twins said in sync. "We know", replied the parents, both with confident smirks on their faces.
