"You coming?", asked Yang. "Almost done!", Blake called from the bedroom. Yang smiled and took out a small box from her pocket. She opened it to make sure whatever was in it was still there. The box was closed and put back into Yang's pocket. She took a deep breath. "I can do this."
Blake was busy brushing her hair in front of the mirror, then sprayed on some deodorant to smell fresh. She looked to the side to see a tiny box resting on the desk. She clutched it in her hands and took a deep breath. "I can do this."
The faunus had finished, and was ready for her date with her girlfriend. She ran down the stairs, and made herself known to Yang. "You ready, Kitten?" "What do you think?", asked Blake as she pecked the blonde's lips. The two women joined hands and walked out the door, hopped on Yang's motorcycle, and headed off to their afternoon out together.
. . .
"I don't know about you, but I don't think I can eat any more food", laughed Yang, rubbing her stomach.
Blake laughed with her. In all honesty, her stomach was a little full itself. "You could swear this is what it feels like to be pregnant", joked the female faunus. "Oh? Is there a bun in the oven, perhaps?"Blake shook her head with a smile. "Not even remotely close." "That's a shame. It would've been a cute baby though", said Yang who rested her hands behind her head. Her lover looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "And how would you know that?"
The brawler chuckled and poked the cat girl's nose. "Because they have a cute mom. So of course, they would be purrfect."Blake shook her head at her girlfriend's pun.
"You know, I know pretty good place where we can take a walk", said Yang. "It will be prepared romantic. And we get to burn off some of this food."
Blake tilted her head. "And where is this place?"
"A nice open field. Pretty romantic, don't you think?"Blake thought on this. "It does, actually." Yang offered out her hand. "Then shall we?" The faunus took her lover's hand and was lead back onto the motorcycle. She felt the box in her pocket, feeling like she will do what she planned to do soon. Little did she know that Yang was thinking the same thing.
. . .
Yang took in the smell of the natural area. "I have to admit. This does look romantic", said Blake. "It would probably be even more so if we had a picnic basket with us." "Yeah." The girls shared a laugh, then went silent.
"You know I love you, right?", asked Yang, almost as if she were insecure in some way. "Of course", said Blake. "And I love you. More than you'll ever know. Dare I say, more than books." Yang was shocked. "Now that is a little hard to believe, Kitten." "But it's true. Just accept it." Blake began to take out the box from her pocket. "In fact, I can't imagine a life without you, Yang."
Yang smiled. "Same here. And I want to be with you until the end. I want to keep making you smile. The same smile I fell in love with." The blonde took her box from her pocket.
Both the women got ready. They shut their eyes and crouched down, then spoke at the same time.
"Yang/Bkake, will you..."They opened their eyes, and were shocked at what they were seeing. Both of them were sitting across each other, crouched with a box in their hands. In those boxes, were rings.
The ring Yang had was silver with an amethyst in the center. The ring Blake had was simply gold, with fire like carvings on it. In the center was an orange gemstone.
The two women looked at each other and smiled. "Yes", they both said. They slid the rings on each other's fingers, put the boxes away, and stood up from the ground.
The couple held hands, then leaned in for a deep kiss while the sun was setting. After they had separated, Blake began to gain tears in her eyes. "We're getting married", she said. Yang started crying as well. "We're getting married." Blake clutched her now fiancée's hands. "We're getting married!"
The two women wiped their tears and kissed again.
