Lucy opened the drawer and took out brightly colored wrapping paper. Natsu placed various objects on the table. "Are these for me?", asked the couple's daughter, who pouted. She made a vow to only open her presents on Christmas day, and until then refused any hint of what she will get. She was stubborn, just like her father.
"No Nashi. This is for all our friends", explained Lucy. "Not all of them", said Natsu, crossing his arms. "Yes, Natsu. All of them. That includes Gray and Gajeel." The fire dragon slayer grumbled.
Lucy packed out the items they were going to wrap up for all their mentioned friends. They started with a book. "This one is for Levy." Natsu took out a fish plush. "And this one is for Happy!"
Lucy finished with her task, then took out another item and hid it from Natsu. "Nashi, come with me quickly." As the two females left the room, Natsu was left to wrap more presents. "Why are we leaving Daddy alone?" "Because we're going to wrap his present." Nashi giddily dashed to her bedside table and opened the drawer, taking out yellow scarf with pink stripes.

"Is Dad going to like it?" "Sweetie, he'll love it. I've been married to him long enough to know that."
Meanwhile, outside Nashi's room, Natsu took out his gift to Lucy. It was a framed picture, that had the entire Dragneel family on a couch dressed in dragon onesies. The frame was a little messily decorated, which was natural for Natsu, but it's the thought that counts, especially with Lucy. Now he really wanted to give this present, but he had to wait until Christmas Day. He heard Nashi's bedroom door open, and saw his wife and daughter walk out.
"What were you two doing?" "Nothing!", said Nashi with a giggle. Natsu let it slide and continued to help his family with wrapping up gifts.

. . .

Christmas Day had arrived, and everyone in Fairy Tail were opening their presents. "Thank you, Lucy!", squealed Levy, holding her gift tightly against her. Gajeel smiled at his wife's joy, while wearing his gift, which was a necklace with a few sharp teeth on it. "You're welcome", said Lucy, then felt her skirt being tugged on by Nashi. "Mom, can we give Daddy his present?" "Yes! Please, Lucy!", exclaimed an excited Natsu. Lucy sighed and handed the gift to her husband. He opened it, and saw a yellow scarf with pink stripes. "It's yellow, like Mom's hair, and pink like our hair", explained Nashi. "Now you have two scarves you can wear!"
Natsu looked at his wife and daughter, and gave them a tight hug. "I love it!" To prove his appreciation, the fire mage swung it over his shoulders, just barely covering his original scarf.
"Now here's my present!" Lucy watched her lover hand over a present. She opened it, and a hand flew to her mouth. "Well?", asked Natsu. "It's beautiful." Lucy looked at the picture of her with her family. The frame was messy, but it was made by Natsu, who made it for her, so perfection didn't matter at all.

She put it on the table and gave Natsu a loving kiss. "Merry Christmas, Luce." "Where's my present?", pouted Nashi. "Right here, Sweetie", said Lucy, giving her daughter her present. She tore off the paper to see it was a book titled "Magic for Dummies".
"Read that to learn the basics, then when you're ready, we're gonna train!", said Natsu. "You mean..." "You're going to be a mage", said Lucy. Nashi's face grew into the biggest and brightest smile, then hugged her parents. "Thank you!"
The couple returned their child's hug, and leaned their heads against each other.

"Merry Christmas, Fairy Tail!", shouted Makarov. "Merry Christmas!", everyone else chanted.
