Iori tried to sort out her hair, straightening it with her hands. "Iori, where are you?" Satoru searched the area, until he found his girlfriend. "And what are you doing over here?"
"N-nothing!" "You missed a spot", said the white haired man, who took a small petal off of Iori's hair. "You know, this place looks very beautiful. Beautiful enough to be in a picture. What do you say?""A picture?", said Iori, a little terrified. "Yeah! Just you and me, in this beautiful nature environment."
"B-but we don't have a camera", said Iori.
Satoru took out his phone, in the same manner a magician would when flipping a card out of nowhere.
"That's what these are for."
Iori wanted to argue, but decided not to."Let's take it over there. It seems like a nice spot."
The couple took a seat on a rock, where Satoru opened the camera app on his phone. Iori tried to put her stress at ease. She was in deep thought of what to do in the picture. What pose to do, what expression to make, to be serious or funny."Smile", said Satoru, who made his phone float in front of them and was doing bunny ears behind his girlfriend's head. But she was still in thought, and was too late to be ready for the picture. Satoru looked at the picture. "Iori, you're not looking at the camera." "Sorry." "Don't worry. Let's just try again."
Satoru made his phone float again. He put his head on Iori's shoulder, while she became anxious again."I can't." "Hm?" "I can't!" The black haired woman dashed away from her boyfriend, leaning against the tree while hiding her face. Satoru walked over to her, taking her hand. "What's wrong?" No answer.
"Iori, babe, don't be like that. You can talk to me. No joke out of my mouth. Just me, listening to what you have to say." Iori sighed, and looked at her boyfriend."I'm not good at... being in pictures. I've always been unsure about how I would look in them, if I would look ugly, beautiful, or whatever. And that was before I got this scar on my face. I don't think I'm ever going to look good in a picture."
Satoru took his phone and went to the photos. He showed it to Iori. "Is that me sleeping?", she asked angrily. "You looked cute", answer Satoru. He then scrolled further to more photos. All of them involved Iori. "Look at these pictures. What do you see?"
The woman looked at the pictures.
"I see me, and sometimes us together. What's your point, Satoru?" "I see pictures of the most beautiful woman in them. When I look at them, I think of the moment I took them, the days I were with you and realizing how lucky I am to have you."Iori blushed. "So in the end, it's not about the picture and how pretty they look, it's about the stories they contain. So right now, you could look however you want, all I want is the memory of me being here with you, the love of my life."
Iori felt touched, and couldn't help herself anymore. She lunged at her lover and kissed him with all her passion. "Let's go take that picture." Satoru smiled and pecked his girlfriend on the lips. "That's my girl." The two lovers got into position while Satoru held his phone in the air.He pressed the button, and the picture was taken. The couple looked at their photo, where they both had smiles that practically glowed. Iori then took out her phone, snapping a picture of her boyfriend.
"You have pictures of me, it's only fair I have pictures of you", she said. "I guess it is."
