Shin stretched his limbs, releasing the tension that was in his muscles. He took a seat on the ground, resting his back up against the wall and diverting his attention towards the ceiling above him. His energy was completely depleted, and he had no desire to be active at the moment. All he wanted was to sit and relax.
Meanwhile, Lena had entered the premises, hoping to come and see her boyfriend. As she walked through the entrance, she was greeted by the rest of the Spearhead Squadron. "Why the surprise visit?", asked Theoto. "Does she really need a reason to come visit her boyfriend?", said Raiden. Lena blushed. "Where is he, exactly?" "He's here. Just probably slacking off somewhere. But who knows, he might get active with you here", said Raiden. Lena became flustered. "He's in the garage", said Anju. "Thanks", said Lena, making her way to the aforementioned location. "Don't go making a mess in his Juggernaut now", Theoto called out. "That was one time!", exclaimed a flustered Lena, making the Spearhead Squadron laugh.
"Take this", said Theoto, tossing a blanket toward the silver haired woman. "It's cold out tonight. Don't want you two lovebirds freezing to death." Lena nodded and continued walking to find Shin.
. . .
Shin's eyelids had grown heavy, and were slowly closing shut. His body had gone limp, and he was practically sleeping up against the wall. Unbeknownst to him, Lena had arrived, and spotted him fast asleep. She looked at him, then down at the blanket in her arms. She walked over to her lover and stared at his sleeping face, finding it quiet attractive, then covered him with the blanket.
After the she placed a kiss on his forehead, the young female turned to walk away, bit was unaware that Shin had opened his eyes just enough to see her. He reached out his hand and grabbed her arm, pulling her down towards him.
"Where do you think you're going?", he asked. "You were sleeping, so I thought..." "I can't sleep while a guest is here. That's bad manners", joked Shin. Lena chuckled. Her boyfriend put a hand on her shoulder and pulled her close, holding her in an embrace. "You must have been pretty tired to be falling asleep." Shin was about to respond, but only managed to let out a long, loud yawn. "I stand corrected", said Lena, making her lover look away with embarrassment. She just smiled and placed a kiss on his cheek, then snuggled her head closer to his chest. The sound of his heartbeat was soothing to her.
"What made you bring a blanket?", asked Shin. "The others gave it to me. They said it would get cold tonight." "Then it's a good thing you're here to keep me warm." Lena blushed at Shin's comment. He placed a kiss on her head, then rested back up against the wall.
"Don't you have a bed to sleep in? I'm just asking, since it must be a but uncomfortable to sleep against a wall." "I guess, yeah. But I don't mind it." Lena looked her boyfriend in the eyes. "So what? You're going to sleep here tonight?" Shin shrugged. "Maybe." The couple then shared a light laugh, before the dark haired man let out another yawn. Lena caressed his face. "You're tired. Get some sleep." Shin, with a tired look in his eyes, nodded, resting back up against the wall and drifting off to sleep. Lena smiled at him, and snuggled up against his body.
"Night, Shin", was what she said before drifting off to sleep as well.
