The museum was surrounded by police, and among them was a young blonde female, known throughout as Detective Kaede Akamatsu.
She stared at the exhibit that was robbed, and then at the glass shards that rested on the ground.
Outside of the building, another car parked, with two formally dressed men exiting it.
One of them looked at the police cars, and smiled. "My day just became a whole lot better."Kaede looked around the spot of the robbery, searching for any possible clues.
"Hey, Kaede!" The blonde detective turned to see a familiar face. "Hey, Kaito." "Still got that stone cold personality, heh?" Kaede pinched the bridge of her nose. "If you're here, then..."
"Hello, beautiful." A man that was with Kaito walked up to the duo. "Inspector Saihara." "What? No hug or kiss? And what happened to calling me Shuichi?"
"We're at a crime scene."
Kaito walked away. "I'll give you two lovebirds some privacy."
Kaede and Shuichi looked at each other. "So, someone robbed a museum? About time we've got something a little toned down from your usual murder case." Kaede ignored her lover and walked towards a pillar which had a security camera attached to it.
"Odd, this case relates to us somehow", said Shuichi. "How so?", asked Kaede, regardless of whether she was going to regret asking that. "The thief stole an artifact, you stole my heart."
Kaede rolled her eyes. "Where are you going?" "To find someone who works here. I need access to the security network." "I hope we get to go undercover. Somewhere fancy, too. You look sexy in that dress you have." Shuichi received no response. "Hell, you look sexy out of that dress. Actually, you look sexy not wearing anything."
Still no response, but Kaede did have a red tint on her cheeks."Oh well, I know the drill. I'll wait out here, you bring out information, then we solve the case together. Afterwards, we go to one of our places and sleep together." Kaede grumbled and entered the security office of the museum.
Shuichi leaned against the wall and smirked. "I am going to marry that girl one day."
