Yoh connected the last button on his shirt, then pulled the suspenders of his pants over his shoulders. He felt the presence of someone come up behind him, forcing him to turn around and come face to face with his wife, Anna, clad in a blood red strapless dress with a transparent piece covering her chest and neck. Around her neck was a pearl necklace as well as a red flower in her hair.
Yoh's jaw dropped, and Anna smirked. "It would seem I chose the right outfit to wear." She seductively walked over to her husband, and shut his mouth with her hand. "But I believe your outfit is missing something." "What?"
Anna left the room and made her husband wait. She returned shortly after with Yoh's iconic orange headphones. He felt them being placed onto his head. "Just because you're wearing something else, that doesn't mean you can still look like my Yoh."
The young man caressed his bride's face with his hand.
The couple turned to their infant son, who was currently being held by their friend, Tamao.
"Now Hana, be good to Aunt Tamao, okay?", said Yoh. The little boy waved his arm while gurgling.
"That's my boy."The Asakura couple made their way to the door. "I know it was obvious, but I still want to say it: you look absolutely beautiful in that dress."
Anna took Yoh's hand and walked out the door. "If you're trying to get me into bed with you, nice try. We have a party to get to."
Yoh pouted, which didn't go unnoticed by his golden haired lover.
"I didn't say it didn't work." Now both lovers were excited to come home later.. . .
"Welcome, lovebirds!", exclaimed Usui. "Hey, Horohoro!", Yoh greeted back. The bluenette noticed Anna's outfit. "Once again, you show me how much of a lucky bastard you are."
Yoh looked at his wife. "You have no idea." "My eyes are up here", said Anna. "Oh come on, Anna. It's a party! Nothing wrong with having a little fun", came a voice from behind. It was none other than Tao Ren, and his arm was hooked with that of his wife, Jeanne. "Hey Ren! Hey Jeanne! What's happening?", asked Yoh. The couple looked at each other, and shared a smile. "Well... turns out I'm gonna be a dad."
Yoh, Anna, and Usui's eyes went wide and their jaws dropped. "Congrats!", shouted the blue haired shaman, hugging the Chinese man and his wife. "When did you guys find out?", asked Yoh. "Just two days ago", replied Jeanne. "How did Jun react?", asked Anna.
"She did exactly what Horohoro just did, only she could've broken our bones.Anna thought about the news, specifically remembering when she was in Jeanne's position. Carrying a child, being nine months away from becoming a mother. She looked at Yoh, a mental image of him as a father popping in her head. It brought a small smile to her face. "Anna? Something on your mind?" "Nothing to concern yourself with. It's better to tell later than now, otherwise I'll ruin the mood." "Understandable."
Music began to play, and all the guests picked a partner to dance with.
Yoh offered out his hand to Anna. "What's that for?" "You know what." The itako turned away, a mischievous smirk on her face. "I don't think I do. Care to elaborate?" Yoh sighed, but laughed lightly. "May I have the honor of dancing with my beautiful, adoring wife?"
Anna looked at her lover. "Much better."She took Yoh's hand and rested the other one on his shoulder. Yoh did the same, only his free hand was resting on Anna's hip. They waltzed to the sound of the music, enjoying each other's company. "I'm sorry, but I really can't get over how beautiful you look in this dress." "Just wait until we get home, then I can take it off for you." Yoh smirked, and kissed Anna on the head. "You really know how to torture me, don't you?" "It's a gift."
The young woman rested her head against her lover's chest, listening to his heartbeat. He in turn pressed his nose into her hair, inhaling its scent.
"This takes me back." "To?" "Remember our wedding dance? And before that?"
Anna thought back to the memory. Back when she and Yoh had gotten married and were dancing in the center of the room. Then there was the time when they were planning their wedding, and Yoh was a nervous wreck when he realized he had to dance with his bride. Fortunately, she was kind enough to teach him a move or two. They loved moments like these. Moments where it was just the two of them. Moments where they could show how much they love and appreciate each other.
Anna peaked around the room, making sure no one was close enough to hear her say the following words.
"I love you, Yoh." "I love you too, Anna. More than you will ever know." "I doubt that."
A light laughter was shared between the two, as well as a loving kiss, and finally, a wonderful dance.
