Maki focused on the ashtray in front of her. Her fingers hovered beside it, pointing to make something happen of sorts. A flame lit up, satisfying the woman. She stood up, dusting off her hands.

The door opened, and a brown haired man with glasses walked out. He marveled at the picnic display before him. "An ashtray?" "There weren't any candles, so I had to improvise." Hinawa nodded in understanding. They both took a seat on the blanket, and began their picnic.

They had a tough week of work, and they wanted to go out on a nice date. But because they were so worn out, they decided to settle for a simple romantic picnic on the roof.

Hinawa reached into the basket and took out an onigiri. "I made them myself", said Maki, blushing a bit. Her boyfriend took a bite. "It's delicious. You're a good cook." Maki looked to the side in embarrassment. "Stop. You're making me blush." "Only speaking the truth", Hinawa chuckled, making his girlfriend's heart skip a beat. Ever since they started dating, he's shown a side not many of the members of Company 8 would see. Hell, he even smiled when he was around Maki. She truly did make him happy.

"You know, this isn't too bad a spot", the man said. "It has a pretty nice view of the stars." Maki looked up. "Yeah. It's very pretty." She pointed up. "I think I see Cygnus." Hinawa looked at her. "You know your constellations, it would seem." "Only that, Orion, and of course the twelve zodiacs. What about you?"
Hinawa shrugged. "Guess you could say the same about me. The only difference is I didn't know about Cygnus." Maki giggled. "Yeah. I don't blame you though. Not many people know about that one."

Hinawa chuckled. He reached into the basket and found a container. He opened it and was surprised at what was inside. "Sushi?" "Your favorite, remember?" "I do." The spectacled man put one slice of sushi in his mouth, and made a hum of satisfaction. "Delicious. You know, you should've been a chef." "Yeah, maybe if military wasn't the family business", said Maki.

"Well, I'm sure anyone should feel lucky to get a chance to eat your food", said Hinawa. Maki thought on this, getting a mental image of her as a housewife, packing in lunch for her darling husband. But the embarrassing part was that the husband's face was that of Hinawa. The woman glanced at her boyfriend, smiling at the thought of him and her being married. She took an onigiri and ate it.

"You've got a little something on your mouth", said Hinawa. "Where?", asked Maki, lifting her hand up to wipe away whatever it is Hinawa noticed. Suddenly, he leaned in and kissed her, taking her by surprise before she melted in.

"There", said Hinawa. Maki held her cheeks, her face becoming entirely crimson.
