Plants were covered in drops of water from the previous night's rainfall, and birds were chirping as they came to fly out in the morning. But our attention is really at a small house that was home to a happy couple.

Hiro lifted himself up from the bed, stretching while he yawned. He looked to his side to see his beautiful wife opening her eyes as well. "Morning, Darling", she said with a smile. "Morning", replied Hiro, leaning down to place a kiss on his wife's head. She groaned a bit and shuffled. "Something wrong?" "Nothing. Just hungry." Hiro chuckled. "I'll go make us some breakfast." He climbed out of bed and left for the kitchen. He turned on the stove and placed a pan down onto it. Next he took out a pack of bacon and opened it, placing it on the heated frying pan. The piece of meat let out a sizzle and had small bubbles boiling on its surface. Hiro took in the bacon's smell, and began to shake the pan just a bit. While he was busy, Zero Two had walked in, smelling the bacon and grinning. She walked over to the fridge and took out a jug, then snuck up on her husband and embraced him from behind.

"Honey? What are you..." "Silly Darling. You know how I eat my breakfast." Zero Two tipped the jug in her hand and let honey fall out onto the bacon. The pieces of meat absorbed the sweet nectar, much to the pink haired woman's delight. Hiro sighed, but smiled as he was used to this by now. "At least there's more bacon." "Oh, more for me?" "Honey, you know I have to eat too, right?"
Zero Two let out a sigh. "Fine."
Hiro had completed his batch of bacon, and moved on to the eggs. "Could you put some bread in the toaster so long?" Zero Two nodded and did the task requested from her husband.
Once their meals were complete, it was time to set up the table. Hiro sat down and watched as his wife used a butter knife to smear more honey on her toast. He didn't object, since this is just her embracing her sweet tooth.
She looked at him, and held out a strip of bacon. "What are you doing?" "In all the times we've been together, I've never seen you eat my honey coated bacon before." Hiro looked at Zero Two's pleading eyes, and gave in.

He took the piece of meat and popped it into his mouth, flinching at the taste. "It's... sweet." Zero Two giggled at her husband's reaction, then turned her attention to the other empty chairs at the table. "Is something wrong?" "Just wondering why we have so many chairs when it's just the two of us." "It came with the house." "You're not wrong. I was just feeling like something was missing."
"Zero Two, we have people visit us, so the chairs aren't quite useless, if that's what you're thinking. And one day, our children will sit in them and eat with us." It took Hiro only a second to realize what he had just said. "I mean, if we ever do have kids in the future." Zero Two giggled. "I'm not against it." She then looked back at the chairs, counting them. "There are eight chairs. Is that how many children you want, darling?"
Hiro nearly choked on his breakfast. "You're right. That's too much. Maybe perhaps three? That's sounds reasonable enough, right?" Zero Two looked at her embarrassed lover, holding his hand. "How many do you want?" The young man chuckled awkwardly. "I guess we'll have to see where the road takes us."

"I guess you're right." Zero Two ate her last bit of breakfast and stood up. "I think I need a shower. Care to join?" Hiro looked down at his food. "I just need to finish up her first." Zero Two understood and walked over to the stairs, but stopped when her lover said one last thing. "Maybe when I come up, we can get started on those kids?" Zero Two grinned. "Don't keep me waiting too long, then." She walked up the stairs, very excited for what was about to come.
