"Here's the popcorn!", cheered Takagi, who snuggled close to her boyfriend. Nishikata rested his arm around her, and turned on the TV.
A movie played, one with a certain topic: dancing. Specifically salsa.
"Can you dance like that?", asked Takagi. "Um... I'm not sure. I don't think I've ever danced before." Takagi raised her eyebrow. "We're in our last year of high school, and you don't know how to dance?" "What does our last year have to do with that?" "Just saying, you've pretty much had enough time to dance." "I've danced with you at the Valentines Day dance! Doesn't that count?" Takagi placed her finger on her chin. "Perhaps. But just saying, I've always wondered what it's like to dance like that", said Takagi, pointing at the TV.
Those words played on repeat in Nishikata's head.. . .
Nishikata turned on his laptop. He skimmed through Youtube and selected a video of a salsa dancing tutorial. He watched through it, pausing whenever there was a new move.
"Okay. I can do this."
Nishikata hovered his arm in front of his stomach, and made the other one stay in the air. He dribbled his feet against the floor, moving to the side of the room. He moved into the opposite direction then changed the position of his arms, clapping his hands."Alright. Let's see what that looks like." He turned on the camera on his phone and recorded his attempted dancing. "Holy shit, I look cringey. But it's somewhat the same, so I'll go with it."
Nishikata resumed the tutorial video, continuing to practice salsa. Eventually, he got the hang of it.
"Now, all I need to do is learn to do it with a partner." The young teen kept watching the video, until it arrived at a tutorial of how to salsa dance with a partner. "Okay, that looks pretty easy. But I should still practice nonetheless. But how?"
Nishikata looked at his pillow. "Maybe not."He sat down onto his bed. "I guess it won't be so hard. Takagi will probably catch on, unless she already knows how to dance like this and was just teasing me."
Nishikata tucked in for the night and went to sleep.. . .
"Hello, Takagi." The brown haired girl was confused. Before her stood her boyfriend with a rose in his mouth standing in what she assumed was supposed to be a seductive pose. "What's going on?"
"You and I, are going to dance", said Nishikata, crossing his legs then doing a twirl, grabbing Takagi as soon as he stopped. She was surprised, and so was he, though he was surprised that he managed to do the move correctly.
He smirked, and turned on music that could go with the movements they were about to do. Nishikata took Takagi's hands, and waltzed. She decided to dance along, wanting to see what her boyfriend had come up with.Nishikata twirled her, then dipped her down, staring into her eyes. Takagi now felt something well up inside of her. Something she wasn't quite sure of. Nishikata lifted her up and pushed her into his chest. Now Takagi knew what was happening.
She was turned on. Really turned on. But first, she wanted to see what other moves Nishikata could do.She was not left disappointed.
Nishikata kept showing off his salsa dancing, and Takagi just danced with him. It was enjoyable, to say the least. When the song ended, Nishikata once again dipped his girlfriend low, and she stretched out her arm for dramatic effect.
"Okay, that was impressive." "Now you got to salsa dance." Takagi giggled and pecked Nishikata's lips. "Not just that, but you managed to look sexy too."
The young man blushed at the compliment, then saw his lover gesturing her thumb to the side. "You know what that means. Bedroom. Now."
Nishikata didn't need to be told twice, evidenced by him running after Takagi up the stairs.
