"We should get a hobby", said Ochako out of the blue. "What?", asked her confused husband, Izuku. "We're married, we live together, we need a hobby", the brunette listed. "Honey, why do we need a hobby?" "Don't all couples have one?" "Not exactly."
Ochako then stayed quiet. "Did you have something in mind?", asked Izuku. The brunette's eyes sparkled, and she began to think. "Oh, what about baking? It's a simple one, but it's better than nothing." "Then baking it is. What are we going to make? Cake? Cookies?" "Muffins! Chocolate muffins!" Izuku stood up and lifted his wife up by her hands. "Then what are we waiting for? Let's go make muffins." "But wait! What if we don't have everything we need?", asked Ochako.
Her husband took out his phone and searched up the ingredients for chocolate muffins. "You're right. We don't have cocoa. Or flour. Or baking powder." He turned to his lover and kissed her on the cheek.
"I'll go buy these. You can prep for baking in the kitchen." Ochako nodded. The couple then initiated their mission.
. . .
Izuku returned home, a bag full of the recipes they needed for their muffins. "I'm back!" "I'm in the kitchen!" The greenette walked to where his wife was, seeing her cleaning out a bowl.
"I bought the ingredients. So are we going to make those muffins?" "Yes!" Ochako dashed to the oven and preheated it. Izuku made space on the kitchen counter by moving some utensils aside, save for the bowl. Ochako grabbed another bowel and began mixing the flour, baking powder, and cocoa.
She poured it into a sifter, where her husband held the bowl in place. Once everything was in, he mixed it together more with a spoon.Ochako then cracked the eggs and put them in a cup, while Izuku melted some butter. The couple added those two ingredients and mixed more. "I'll stir further. You just check on the oven", said the green haired man.
He then noticed his brunette lover dipping her finger in the chocolate mix. "Hey, those are for the muffins." "Couldn't resist." Before Ochako could put her chocolate coated finger in her mouth, Izuku grabbed her wrist and tried to move her hand away.
The struggle ended with the chocolate smearing onto the the young man's cheek. Ochako gasped, then giggled. "Well, at least the rest of the chocolate is okay."Izuku picked up the bowel and stirred further, then felt his wife jumped onto him and licked off the chocolate on his cheek. He chuckled and put the bowl down, then handed the spoon over to Ochako, who licked off the chocolate. He then dipped his finger in the bowl and smeared the chocolate on his lover's lips. Before she could ask, she felt a soft kiss on her lips.
"Delicious." Ochako blushed and hid her face behind the spoon, while Izuku smiled and took out another spoon to scoop out some chocolate into the muffin tray.
. . .
The couple sat together and tasted the chocolate muffins. "I have to say, these came out pretty good", said Izuku. Ochako hummed and basked in the taste of the muffin in her mouth. "Vis ish duhwessus!", she said with her mouth full. "Would you say you like this more than mochi?"
Ochako swallowed her muffin. "Not even close." Izuku chuckled and looked at the rest of the muffins. "You know, I think we may have just found our hobby together." His wife nodded. "Next we're trying custard slices!" Izuku put his finger on his chin. "I was thinking more of something along the lines like... apple pie!" "Then let's make both!", said Ochako.
Her husband chuckled. "Or mochi." With this, the young woman froze. "Homemade... mochi?" Izuku sat triumphantly. "I love you!", exclaimed Ochako, hugging him tightly. "Love you too", he said, then handed a muffin to his wife, which she happily accepted.
