Everyone had left class already, and Kazuma was cleaning up as punishment for a stunt he pulled earlier in the day.
He was dusting the blackboard erasers a certain explosion obsessed witch walked in. "Megumin?" "I didn't want you to feel lonely." Though this sounded cute, knowing Megumin, there was more to her statement. "Because of my reputation, you being my boyfriend could make you a target for bullying!"
There it was.
"Megumin, I'm fine. No one has cone to bully me. Hell, no one has ever wanted to bully me." "Because they are waiting for the right time to strike!" "And when will this be?" "When I am not around."
Kazuma sighed. There was just no talking sense with his chunibyo girlfriend.
He put the erasers down and turned to her. "Speaking of not around..." Megumin looked at her boyfriend as he walked towards her. "No one is around. It's just the two of us, at long last."
It was true. The two lovers could barely get any privacy for themselves, due to their nosy classmates. They were even more annoying than Aqua and Darkness, who actually gave the two their privacy. But now, it was just the two of them, and no one else.
However, unbeknownst to them, three other students were outside the classroom, consisting of a royally clad skeleton, a young male in a tracksuit, and a little blonde girl.
"Kazuma, it's getting late. We should get home." "But we might have other people snooping there. Can't we just enjoy this time we have now?"
Megumin smiled and placed her hands on Kazuma's shoulders, leaning in to kiss him, which he happily accepted. The other trio outside just peeked in, watching the couple begin a heavy make out session.
Kazuma sat down on top of a desk, letting Megumin straddle him and dig her fingers into his hair kissing him deeply.
"Should we really be watching this?", asked Ainz. "I don't really know right now", said Subaru. The third student, Tanya, entered the classroom.
"Use protection, you two!"
Kazuma and Megumin stopped making out, and became flustered messes.
"Shhh! Let them be!", said Ainz. Subaru looked at his fellow NEET. "Just pretend we aren't here..."
Tanya stood with a pleased grin. "Oh, to be young again."
Megumin pulled down her hat to cover her face, while Kazuma's mouth hung agape.

Subaru walked through the school gates, seeing Kazuma. He waved at him, but only received a scowl and a cold shoulder.
Emilia looked at her human companion. "Is something wrong with you two?" "I... may have ruined a moment between Kazuma and Megumin."
"Oh, Subaru", said Rem, shaking her head.
"I quite understand the feeling", said Ainz. "Kazuma has been avoiding me and Tanya as well. We must've really ruined things for him and Megumin."
"Might I suggest something?", asked Emilia. "Maybe you could set up a date for them. After all, wasn't it alone time together that they've been wanting?"
The two males thought on this. "You're right! Once again, you've had a brilliant idea, Emilia!"
"I must agree. Perhaps a simple date is just the necessary requirement to fix our little predicament", said Ainz. "Now, where do we start?"
"Leave that to me", said Rem confidently.

Kazuma walked through the night, arriving at the park. He looked around, and saw Megumin approaching him. "Kazuma? What are you doing here?" "I was about to ask you that."
A glow emitted beside them, revealed to be lanterns hung up on a tree. Underneath the lights was a blanket with a basket on it. It appeared to be a picnic.
"Ah, the lovebirds have arrived", said Tanya. "Welcome to your little romantic getaway."
Kazuma and Megumin were surprised. "We did this. As an apology", said Subaru. "And we promise, we will try our hardest to give you two some space from here on out", said Ainz.
Kazuma couldn't help but smile. "Thanks guys." "No problem. Now please, just start your date!", said Subaru. "Come on. Let's go, guys", he said, gesturing Tanya and Ainz to follow him.
Kazuma and Megumin were finally alone together. "Fitting, for me to gave such an elegant picnic", boasted the explosive witch.
The lucky adventurer smiled and kissed his girlfriend, taking out a sandwich from the picnic basket. Megumin blushed, and cupped Kazuma's hand.
