130: Catfishing the guy that's not obsessed with me 2

Jungkook POV
I was excited to meet Taehyung tonight. I honestly didn't think he'll agree since I ended up texting him infront of my fans during Vlive. I was jumping up and down happily when he responded with 'Okay'

I took a long shower, put on cologne and wore my casual outfits.
"or a suit? Nonono..I don't wanna look desperate" I said to myself. I only told Taehyung that we're going to meet at a private dining. My uncle owned the place so it was easy for me to find a spot that quick.

My appearance looked fine in the mirror. All I wore were tight jeans and a black sweater.
"There. Not too desperate looking" I smiled to my reflection before grabbing my car keys and head straight to the car.

I'm so nervous.

Author POV

Taehyung was waiting outside from the place. He felt guilty to treat Jungkook like this and mad that he's quite stupid like Jimin had stated.
"Hyung!" Taehyung gulps when he looks at Jungkook, who was happily smiling at him. Taehyung greets him with an awkward smile.
"Hi Jungkook..." Jungkook giggles then hands Taehyung something.

"Daisies?" Taehyung was confused.
"Yeah! You don't remember? When I asked you what flowers you like, you said you like daisies. So that's why I bought them for you" Jungkook scratches his head, feeling nervous.
"Do you...like them?" Taehyung gulps.

Daisies are Jimin's favorite..

"I like them.." he manages to reply.
Not long after, Jungkook brings him inside the private dining and started to order food. Once they ordered the food, Jungkook plucks up the courage to talk to him. Taehyung tries to be more cheerful, like Jimin. Jungkook talks about how amazing he was, how kind he was, and how handsome he's got more and more.

Taehyung smiles and nod, not knowing what to say. He was afraid he'll start being rude again.

"I'm sorry. Am I annoying you?" Taehyung shook his head and said,
"Not really. I just don't have anything to say" Jungkook's mouth formed into an 'O' and he nods in understanding.
When the food arrived, Taehyung gathers more confident to talk more lively to Jungkook. The younger smiles happily at that, but after a while, Jungkook sense that something was awfully wrong.

Doesn't he remember what we talked about? Everytime I ask him about our messages, he looks annoyed and guilty. And he looks confused everytime I bring up his favorite things that we talk about in chat.. it's like, he had forgotten his interest..what exactly is he hiding from that Greek painting face he has?

"Hyung.." "hm?" Taehyung looks up and he was surprised to see Jungkook's disturbed face.
"Is there something that you're not telling me?" Taehyung's eyes widen. He lets out a nervous laugh.
"W-What makes you say that?"

"When I said that your favorite food was sausages, you said no. When I asked if you wanted to watch movies, you said you like museums better, and when I asked about what type of workout do you prefer, you said that you hate working out!" Jungkook slams his hand on the table, making taehyung flinch.

"Everything that I have stated were all your interest, and I find it stupid if you hated them all because you seemed passionate when we talk about it!" Jungkook had a second thought if what he was doing was dramatic, but he choose to stay firm.
"Tell me Hyung, am I being too dramatic? Am I not thinking this through? Or am I actually right-"

"Okay okay I'll talk alright?"

Jungkook was heartbroken when Taehyung explained that it wasn't him that texted him all along. It was his manager, Park Jimin. Taehyung explained how he asked Jimin to help him text the younger and begged Jimin to pretend to be him. Taehyung also told Jungkook that he was now dating Min Yoongi, Jeon Jungkook's manager. Which hurt the younger even more.
