The rest of the time spent at the Park Residence was fairly pleasant. Jungwon had no idea what Jay told his Mother but, it seemed to really put her in her place.
After eating, Jungwon went to interact with Jong-Hyuk and his siblings. He even greeted Jungwon like a gentleman by placing a soft kiss on his hand. It made the boy blush for some unknown reason.
Everything about him was just so...elegant and charming.
''Jay hadn't told me he'd marry such a beauty.'' Jong-Hyuk complemented.
''Aw.. you think I'm pretty?''
The brown haired boy smiled. ''Definitely. Maybe that's why Jay didn't want to invite me to the wedding yesterday.''
Jungwon's smile faded.
''He didn't invite you?''
''Ah, it's probably nothing. He's a busy boy you know.''
''Well.. I'm sorry you weren't there. I should get going now. He's already getting suspicious.''
Jong-Hyuk watched Jungwon leave and smiled to himself. Jay had all the right reasons to be suspicious.
-----------------------------------------------
Jay and Jungwon sat in the car quietly. Five minutes had already passed and Jay hadn't said a word.
''Did you read the contract Jungwon?''
''The one I had no say in, yes.''
''And I'm pretty sure it says you're my husband now.''
''Um-hum.''
''My husband as in M.I.N.E. Cheating terminates the contract. You'd get sued for not keeping to your end of the bargain.''
''Jay spare me the bs. I was just talking to Jong-Hyuk. Nothing happened.''
''He kissed your hand before I could kiss any part of your body.''
''W..well.. that's your fault. No one told you not to kiss me-''
Jay leaned in and did just that. It took Jungwon by surprise when he felt Jay's lips against his own. Rather different from his cold outward appearance, his lips were were soft and sweet. Something Jungwon had never tasted before. Something he never wanted to stop tasting. Something that became addictive within a matter of seconds.
When Jay pulled away, Jungwon was a blushing mess. The boy couldn't even think straight.
''I've been wanting to do that...'' Jay told him.
''T...h..that was my first kiss...ever..''
''Oh, I'm sorry it wasn't something special-''
''Kiss me again.''
''What..''
''I need you to kiss me again Jay.''
''Are you sure?''
Jungwon nodded his head and leaned in for another kiss from Jay. There it was. That feeling of belonging and comfort he had never felt before. Jay had it. Jay was making him feel this way.
But why?
Jay stopped when he felt his husband's tears against his cheeks.
''W..what's wrong?? Did you not like it? Am I a bad kisser?''
''N...no I like it.. I guess... I'm emotional because it's my first time doing something like this.
''Are you happy.. it was with me?''
''Maybe.''
Jay smiled slowly. '' Don't worry, you'll be happy soon enough.''
------------------------------------
The couple had stopped at a food store to buy groceries for their new house.
According to Jay, they'd also be getting their own personal chef. In response to that, Jungwon told him that he could cook.
''Uh-huh, but we both will be busy with school after next week yeah?''
''Oh..school.''
Jungwon's school horrors had been forgotten due to the pressure of the wedding but now that he was reminded of it, it made his anxiety kick in.
At first, Jay was dumbfounded. He didn't know what was going on and why but... it was common sense to know something was wrong.
He forgot about everything else and took Jungwon to their car where the boy began to cry uncontrollably.
''Jungwon, Jungwon, it's okay, it's okay! You're okay- nothing's happening, I'm here.''
He flinched at Jay's touch and huddled defensively in a ball.
''What's wrong? Are you scared of me?? I'm not going to hurt you, I promise.''
Jungwon still cowered away from Jay.
''Don't touch me. Please.'' the younger boy requested softly.
''Okay, I won't. Do you need anything?''
''I wanna go home.. please.''
Jay drove them home. In silence. But this wasn't over, not for him at least.
-----------------------------------------
Jungwon went straight to his allocated room and locked himself in. It was going so well, he was having fun with Jay. Why did he have to mention school.
That's the reason why Jungwon had his phone switched off from Thursday evening. They'd want to know. Everyone would want to know. He would want to know.
He heard a knock against his door. ''Jungwon, are you okay?''
Just hearing Jay's voice made him a bit calm but he wanted to be alone right now.
''I'm fine...thanks.''
''Do you want to talk about it?''
''I'm going to bed, I'm tired.''
''But...okay... well let me know if you need anything.''
''Um-hum.''
Jungwon wasn't really going to bed. He was going to relieve his pain in the way he'd been doing ever since the abuse started.
