A/N: request by @dezi_rodrigu thank you SO much for your patience!!

"Give it up for the one and only... Y/N L/N!"

Sister Rosetta leaned back from the microphone as she boomed your name throughout Club Handy. Clapping started almost instantly, people cheering as you got up onto the stage. You wore a black dress that went out around the waist and swirled at your knees.

Normally you'd be scared to get onto the small stage at Club Handy, but you'd done it so much you were a regular. And people loved your music. You loved to sing it. So, with a deep breath and flick of your wrist, the music started up behind you and you began,

"Bop bopa-a-lu a whop bam boo!"

You grabbed the microphone and brought it close to your mouth as your body just moved with the music.

"Tutti frutti, oh Rudy
Tutti frutti, woo
Tutti frutti, oh Rudy
Tutti frutti, oh Rudy
Tutti frutti, oh Rudy
A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo!"

The band came alive, grooving with you. You couldn't help your body as it started to move, hips wiggling side to side as you tossed your head with each angle. The microphone wasn't a microphone, it was the thing anchoring you to the Earth. If you let it go, the music might let you float on up.

"Got a girl named Sue, she knows just what to do
I got a girl named Sue, she knows just what to do
She rock to the east, she rocks to the west
But she's the girl that I know best!

Tutti frutti, oh Rudy
Tutti frutti, woo
Tutti frutti, oh Rudy
Tutti frutti, oh Rudy
Tutti frutti, oh Rudy
A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo!"

From the corner of your eye, you saw BB King pull a white man through the doors and towards a corner of the room. He had black hair slicked back on his head and piercing blue eyes that followed you through your whole performance. But you didn't let yourself look at him too long, fake dropping the mic before getting into the next verse.

"Got a girl named Daisy, she almost drives me crazy
I got a girl named Daisy, she almost drives me crazy
She knows how to love me, yes indeed
Boy, you don't know what you're doin' to me

Tutti frutti, oh Rudy
Tutti frutti, woo
Tutti frutti, oh Rudy
Tutti frutti, oh Rudy
Tutti frutti, oh Rudy
A whop bop-a-lu a whop oww!"

Clutching that microphone to you, you spun in a dramatic circle, shaking your hips wildly.

"Tutti frutti, oh Rudy
Tutti frutti, woo
Tutti frutti, oh Rudy
Tutti frutti, oh Rudy
Tutti frutti, oh Rudy
A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo

Got a girl named Daisy, she almost drives me crazy
Got a girl named Daisy, she almost drives me crazy
She knows how to love me, yes indeed
Boy, you don't know what you're doin' to me!"

Club Handy was melting behind you as the music went inside your very soul. The straps of your dress fell down but you didn't care as you spun and sang. You climbed on top of the piano as you sang the end, closing your eyes and moving.

"Tutti frutti, oh Rudy
Tutti frutti, woo
Tutti frutti, oh Rudy
Tutti frutti, oh Rudy
Tutti frutti, oh Rudy
A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo!"

As the song ended, a thunderous applause filled Club Handy and you hopped down the stage, cheeks pink from the exercise. Sister Rosetta came to you, embracing you tightly against her bosom and saying how proud of you she was. You thanked her, kissing her cheeks and practically running towards the bar for a glass of cold water.
