Disrespect ~ Chapter 3

"How's life right now for the team?" Chrom asked as he and Byleth talked through the phone.

Byleth replied, "Not a whole lot has been going on as of late. The villains decided to get back in business and decided to attempt to steal some jewelry. In the end they failed."

"I guess this is a welcome back to Team Villain! I hope you're doing alright though," Chrom replied. Byleth looked at the clothing piece he was working on. It was the outfit he was going to wear to the wedding of Chrom and Cladue.

Byleth sighed, "I'm doing fine..."

"You don't sound like you're doing alright, you need someone to listen to you vent?"

Byleth laughed nervously, "I guess I can vent a little..." He sat down on his bed and took a deep breath. "I hate it so much how often I'm downgraded?! I keep being called ridiculous things like being called a simp. A SIMP! Come on, you know I got over my crush on you and I want to be more independent and stuff like that. However, I HATE THIS! I HATE THIS SO MUCH!!!"

Chrom asked, "What other things are people calling you?"

"It's just that one saying, usually people just go ahead and forget about my existence... I'm so damn tired of this, everyone does all they can forget about me. Am I that bad?! Am I that bad that people want to forget I'm working with the heroes?" Byleth continued as he started walking around his room. He sat down, put his phone down, put it on speaker and started sewing back a hole.

Chrom sighed, "You're not a horrible person. I don't understand why anyone would think of you any less..." Byleth took a deep breath and then sat back down. "Shoot, sorry I don't have any more time. I have to continue getting ready. See you another time." Then Chrom hung up.

Byleth groaned, "Goodbye..." He looked at his clothing and fixed the hole up. He got ready and proceeded to continue on working his outfit. He put earbuds in and peacefully listened to the music he was listening to.

"Byleth!!" Byleth didn't listen and continued to sew. He was in his own fantasy land thinking about the good things in his life.

Byleth sighed, "I just need to get my work out there more. Make myself more independent..." He looked at the clothing and what was done. He was pretty pleased with what he had. "Perfect, I just need to do the finishing touches and I'll be good to go."

"BYLETHH!!!" Byleth pulled his earbuds out of his ears and dashed out of his room. He looked down and saw Kirby waving. "DINNERRR TIME!!!!" Byleth nodded and cleaned up his mess. He went down and grabbed the food Kirby cooked.

Byleth sat down next to Alear and sighed, "I had a chat with Chrom today, he was doing alright getting everything ready for the wedding."

"Their wedding is so close! AHH!! I cannot wait!" Alear cheered. Byleth nodded and continued eating. He felt himself getting more and more quieter as the days went on. He didn't really talk with his teammates as he did long ago. It was like their relationship was falling apart just like that. Within a flash...

Byleth thought, "Everyone is getting older, but nothing is so exciting anymore. Alear is cool and cheerful but it doesn't feel the same anymore... I'm so exhausted from doing favors and nothing in return..." Byleth washed his plate when he was finished and went to his room.

He immediately started crying, life was getting so much worse for him. He grew up being isolated, he got so involved and now... there's nothing left of it now. He hated being alone as much as anyone else did. Now it was just worse since nobody would acknowledge his existence.

"Byleth..."

"GO AWAY!!!"

"Jeez! I just wanted to cheer you up and make you feel better!" Byleth got up and opened the door. Alear saw that his eyes were raged and he seemed a bit messy. "Oh... I'll go ahead and leave you alone then..."

Byleth screamed, "GO AHEAD!! I DON'T NEED ANYONE LIKE YOU ALEAR! NOBODY!!!" Then he slammed his head onto his bed and continued crying. He was so fed up with being tossed around. So fed up with being left out, he decided there was one thing left to do. No more Mr. Nice guy, he was done.

Byleth groaned, "If I can't get anything... Nobody will ever feel any less different from how I feel. I'll go ahead and RUIN their wedding! RUIN EVERYTHING THEY HAVE!! TEAR THE TEAM APART! TEAR EVERYONE APART!!" He looked down at his hands and then smiled. "Show... them all... I have..."
