"HAH!" Claude shot several arrows from above as Byleth was able to block them all. He jumped into the air and attempted to whip the two but Chrom was able to block the attack with his sword. Byleth looked over toward Rafal and ordered him to throw his axe.
Rafal threw his axe and the wyvern was hit. The two were able to land safely on the ground together but the wyvern was seriously hurt. "Claude! You still have my communicator?!"
Claude replied nervously, "I left it at home! I did figure out how to send the signals and the communicator is good as new! I just forgot to bring it..." Chrom looked toward the mansion as the two just split across the land. Byleth prioritized Chrom as Rafal prioritized Claude, they were able to handle them on their own but they needed backup as soon as possible.
Chrom ordered, "AWAY!!" He slammed his sword against Byleth and he was able to be thrown off. Byleth landed on the ground and looked over in anger. Then he got ready to blast Chrom. However, Claude dashed in and shot an arrow directly at Byleth. Byleth was hit by the arrow and slammed onto the ground. He felt the pain in his chest and looked toward Claude, getting prepared to kill him.
"Of course it has to be one of the lovebirds trying to get their hands to kill me, do you still want that crown after all this time?!" Byleth asked while smiling. Claude and Chrom didn't say anything, they just stood there quietly. "Go on... answer my question..."
Chrom muttered, "You already know damn well it's not just because I want the crown. I don't want nonsense like that, I just want my friend back..."
"Ooh! YOU WANT YOUR LITTLE FRIEND BACK!?" Byleth asked. Chrom glared at him down as Byleth got his sword ready. "You're very serious nowadays, I wonder what that reasoning could be..."
Chrom ordered, "LIKE I WILL TELL A WORD TO YOU!!" Claude raised his bow and arrow. Together, the two worked in harmony to deal as much harm to Byleth. He fell backward and soon realized that he was bleeding. Byleth looked toward Rafal and ordered him to attack the pair. Soon Claude took out a sword of his own and got with Chrom.
The two dashed in and slammed their swords against Rafal's axe. They were victorious and were able to throw his axe onto the ground. Byleth then whipped his sword toward Claude. Claude got his arm wrapped around and was struggling to break out. While Rafal was still recovering, Chrom found the perfect chance to attack. He dashed in and slammed his sword against Byleth's sword.
He lost balance and collapsed onto the ground. He barely reacted quick enough as Chrom slammed his sword against the shield he had up. "GIVE UP ALREADY!!! YOU ALREADY LOST THIS BATTLE!" Byleth looked at Chrom and smiled. Then he casted a spell on him. Chrom dropped his sword and was unable to move closer to getting his sword.
Byleth asked, "How does that feel? I'm certain it doesn't feel good..." Chrom looked over to Byleth in rage as Claude dashed over and grabbed the sword. He passed it over to Chrom and Chrom was able to successfully grab the sword. "Teamwork I see... always the same nonsense..."
Claude asked, "Do you have a problem with people working together?" Byleth stared at him and smiled. He launched his sword at Claude. He barely dodged it and shot an arrow directly at Byleth. He got hit by it in the shoulder and looked over in anger. "Heh..."
Byleth asked, "You find joy in this don't you? Well that doesn't matter, I can heal myself just fine either way." Claude looked at him as Byleth healed his injury. Meanwhile, Rafal managed to get himself together and he slammed his axe against Claude. Claude barely reacted on time and blocked the attack.
Eventually the spell broke from Chrom and he dashed in to attack. He slammed his sword against Rafal's axe and he fell backward. Byleth then shot a spell at the two. They dodged the spell and soon they noticed the other heroes dashing over to help. "Right on time!" Claude waved at the heroes as they waved back.
But they knew they had to act quickly, Byleth and Rafal were not done fighting, they still had fight left inside of them. They got themselves ready to strike once again. However, Chrom and Claude raised their bow and arrows and together they shot a combo arrow at Byleth. He fell onto the ground and found the arrow was shot directly in one of his eyes.
Byleth muttered, "Smart aren't you?"
"TAKE THIS!" Celica dashed over and then casted a fire spell on Byleth. He barely dodged the spell but in the process he felt his skin slightly burning. He found out that he got burnt on the lower right side of his face.
Byleth groaned, "Oh so you're going to start burning my body now?! How very peculiar of you to do so..." Byleth looked at Rafal and smiled. Rafal nodded as he dashed away from the scene. Byleth then got himself to cast a spell. He began the spell as a purple circle appeared directly underneath him.
Chrom grunted, "He's trying to perform a ritual spell of sorts! We need to stop him before it gets worse!" The heroes nodded when Claude suddenly got a notification.
"Shoot I can't stay! I have to head back to Almyra!" Claude yelled. Chrom looked over at him and nodded. The two exchanged hugs with each other as Claude dashed over to his wyvern as Chrom got prepared.
Alear shouted, "TAKE THIS!" She attempted to attack Byleth but he was protected by some strange shield. Byleth smiled at her as he continued casting the spell.
"The more you attack me the stronger this spell will become! Just keep on trying!" Byleth mocked. The heroes looked at one another and soon Byleth got himself prepared. The air around the heroes continued to shift intensely and eventually the spell was casted.
Suddenly there were... strange creatures on the ground. The heroes raised their weapons up in confusion but realized they were... something different.
"What are those?" Kirby asked.
Byleth giggled, "Something we like to call... the disposal..."
