Opening What Was Once Sealed ~ Chapter 143

"Alright, I need you all to listen very carefully... I know this is going to be a lot to take in but once we are able to perform the spell, we will be able to gain access directly to the Netherworld," Alcryst ordered.

Shez laughed, "Look at you taking the role of the commander!"

"G-Gah! Please don't praise me in this way! You're making someone as worthless as me to feel some worth when I don't deserve it!" Alcryst said while panicking.

Shez laughed nervously, "Sorry! I didn't mean to hurt you that way!" Alcryst looked down at the book and showed it to the heroes.

Alcryst explained, "Celica and Veyle would need to be able to perform the steps as showcased here. You will need to combine fire and dark magic in order to open the portal. Afterwards I will shoot an arrow directly into the middle to open the seal. Gooey and Kirby would need to stand on the left and right sides of the portal and put water on those areas.

Shez you will stand next to me when I give you the signal to jump directly into the middle to open the portal. Claude you will shoot arrows in the middle right before I shoot my finishing arrow. Does this make sense to everyone?"

"Yes indeed! Everyone plays a part in this so let's get rolling so we can get to the Netherworld as soon as possible!" Celica cheered. The heroes nodded as each of them got into their positions.

Shez asked, "Are we certain this spell is going to work?"

"You have to trust me! I have the book in my hands and this is the best way we can open a sealed portal!" Alcryst explained. Shez looked at Alcryst and took a deep breath.

Shez sighed, "I trust you Alcryst..."

"Me too!" Kirby cheered as the other heroes smiled at Alcryst. Alcryst smiled at them as he took a deep breath. He opened the book and got himself ready.

Celica cheered, "You can do this Alcryst! You're going to do great!"

"Ugh... your constant praise makes me feel less confident in myself... I'm not going to be good at this," Alcyrst groaned.

Kirby whispered, "Hey, it's going to be okay. Just trust yourself and it will work out in the end." Alcryst looked at Kirby and nodded. He took a deep breath and got himself ready again. He was more than ready to try guiding the heroes to victory.

Alcryst ordered, "Veyle and Celica, go!" The two nodded as they got their spells ready and began to cast them onto the portal. "Kirby and Gooey you're all next!" The two nodded as Kirby pulled out his water copy ability and sprayed water all over the area.

"This plan seems like it'll work, once we get to the Netherworld we'll defeat Zethus for good, free the heroes and finally free Byleth from his corruption," Shez sighed. The others nodded as Alcryst took a deep breath.

Alcryst ordered, "Veyle and Celica stop! Claude, shoot your arrows!" Claude nodded as he pulled out his bow and arrow and began to shoot arrows at the center. The portal seemed to start slowly opening up.

Veyle cheered, "I see it! I see the portal start to open up! This plan is going to work if we keep trying!" The others nodded as Kirby and Gooey worked together to continue spraying as much water as possible.

"Gooey and Kirby stop! Celica and Veyle begin the spell again!" Alcryst ordered. The two nodded as they began casting their spells on the portal. Alcryst smiled at everyone as the portal appeared to be opening up slowly.

Shez laughed, "Seems like this plan is going to work out in the end, Alcryst!" Alcryst looked at Shez and smiled. He felt a lot better about himself and feeling... a little more confident in himself too. "Alright, whatever comes next we're all going to be here for this!"

Alcyrst nodded, "Right! Whatever happens next we're all in this together, right everyone!"

"RIGHT!" The heroes cheered as they continued doing their parts in opening the portal. Alcryst noticed the portal was barely opened enough and he raised his bow and arrow into the air.

Alcryst ordered, "Everyone stop! I'm shooting my arrow and then Shez you jump in!" Shez nodded as he got ready and one by one, the heroes stopped what they were doing. Alcryst then shot his arrow directly into the air, the heroes watched as the arrow landed directly in the middle.

That was Shez's cue, he dashed over and jumped directly into the middle. He slammed his blades on the area and the portal slowly opened. The heroes backed away from the portal and looked down toward it.

Celica sighed, "Looks like it's open now... we did it just in time!"

"Good job everyone and especially a good job to you Alcryst, you did amazing," Shez said with a smile. Alcryst looked at the heroes and then smiled at them again.

Alcryst said while stammering a bit, "I... I guess I did in the long term... I can be proud of that..."

"There's some progress right there! You're more accepting of the praise Alcryst!" Celica giggled.

Alcryst said while slightly panicked," G-Gah! Not fully all the way though! I'm... going to try working on that."

"That doesn't matter, you're doing far better than usual, we're all very proud of you Alcryst," Shez said with a smile. Alcryst nodded as the heroes all looked down toward the portal.

Celica sighed, "The portal to the Netherworld awaits all of us, are we all prepared to go?"

"Let's do it," The heroes replied, before Claude suddenly got a call on his phone.

Claude muttered, "Sorry one second." The heroes nodded as he walked off from the scene.
