"AHAHAHAHAHA!!! AHHHHH-HAHAHAHAHAA!!" Zethus Byleth laughed. The heroes were thrown backward and watched as a binding light appeared in the center of the castle.
Shez asked, "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!!"
"MAKING SURE YOU HEROES NEVER FIND A WAY TO WIN!!!" Zethus Byleth laughed as he slammed his foot onto the ground. The heroes watched in horror as the castle split apart.
Celica asked, "W-WHAT THE HECK?!" The heroes watched as something was opening at the bottom of the surface. Zethus Byleth smiled down as he walked closer and closer to the opening. He went down and slowly touched it, having it expand more and more.
"AHAHAHAHAAH!!" Zethus Byleth laughed hysterically. Rafal looked at the portal opening on the ground and turned away in worry. He didn't know what to do or how to comprehend the entire situation.
Rafal muttered, "Goddamnit! The heroes need to do something!" The heroes just watched as the two sides of the castle separated more and more. The heroes tried to get to the other side but it was no use.
"Now... you all may be wondering what that portal is... that's the gateway to the Netherworld. We'll be meeting you there..." Zethus Byleth giggled.
Shez asked, "WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO THE ENERGIES OF THE HEROES?!" Zethus Byleth put his hand on his mouth and chuckled. Then he looked toward Rafal who was standing there with worry.
"Is something troubling you Rafal?" Zethus Byleth questioned. Rafal slowly shook his head no as Zethus Byleth turned around toward the heroes. "The energies of the heroes are located in the Netherworld... but you won't be following us there unfortunately!"
Shez asked, "What the hell does that imply?" Zethus Byleth smiled at the heroes as he walked over to the portal. He had a wide smile across his face as he stood in front of the portal. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!?"
Zethus Byleth laughed, "I can't wait to find a way to destroy you all... you will never find a way to kill me no matter how hard you try... so let's get to the good part and get this train on the tracks..."
"WHAT?!"
"AHAHAHAAHHA!!" Zethus Byleth laughed as a blast appeared in the distance. There were rushes of energy flying into the portal. The heroes couldn't do anything about the situation, they were too far away from Zethus Byleth and Rafal.
Veyle shouted, "THE ENERGIES OF THE HEROES! THEY'RE GOING INTO THE NETHERWORLD!!"
"DAMN YOU!!!" Shez shouted in anger as he threw one of his swords at Zethus Byleth. However, he was able to catch it with ease and then he threw it back at the heroes. They jumped backward as Shez picked his sword up.
Kirby stammered, "Why... Why did he have to do this to the heroes? What did they do to him!?" The heroes looked down at Kirby who looked like he was in tears. Then they turned over to Zethus Byleth as he smiled widely getting ready to jump into the portal.
Rafal muttered, "My lord, are you sure you're prepared-"
"The Netherworld has been my home for ages on end, Rafal, I'm more than prepared to get back home..." Zethus Byleth giggled. Then he looked at the heroes. They wanted to attack him but they were unable to.
Celica shouted, "GET AWAY FROM THE PORTAL NOW!!"
"Not a CHANCE!! YOU WILL NEVER STOP ME NOW NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU WISH TO STOP ME!!! AHAHAHAHA!!" Zethus Byleth laughed.
Veyle muttered, "What do you all suggest we do now? We're just unable to stop them!?"
"We have to follow them through the Netherworld! We're not letting them get away-" Claude suggested before the heroes were all attacked by a spell. They fell backward as Zethus Byleth got himself prepared.
Zethus Byleth sighed, "At long last... we'll be deciding who defeats who once you heroes find a way to get into the Netherworld... SO LONG HEROES!!" Zethus Byleth dashed over and jumped into the portal. Rafal followed after the rest of the heroes' energies. The heroes attempted to follow but they were unsuccessful.
Shez shouted, "THE GATES CLOSED!! DAMN!" The heroes looked at each other as they attempted to see if they could open the portal again. But no matter how hard Veyle and Celica tried, they were never able to open it.
Celica muttered, "It feels almost impossible to open the portal! We're unable to do much but to pray and see what comes out in the end..."
"Of course... Zethus doesn't want us to follow him... I just pray once we get in there we find a way to break that crown and destroy Zethus for good," Shez explained. Gooey looked at the heroes and then over toward Kirby.
Kirby described, "Gooey wanted to say something, it seems like he wanted to tell me that Zehira also seemed to have disappeared out of nowhere. Rafal is back to his normal self."
"Yeah we all noticed that, we're believing this has something to do with Zethus trying to be more and more independent in himself, we don't have too much time to waste so let's get ourselves ready," Shez explained.
Claude said, "Wait, I just want to say something before we look around the castle to see if we can open that portal."
"What's that you're going to say?"
Claude noticed, "I noticed that Rafal was muttering something while Zethus was opening the portal. He seemed more and more afraid of working alongside him, do you guys think he's trying to change for the better?"
"You saw that? I thought I was the only one who saw it! It definitely seems like Rafal no longer wants to work with Zethus anymore longer..." Celica explained. The heroes looked at one another and then toward Claude.
Claude sighed, "He might want to try to help us... but right now we have something to focus on. Seeing if the heroes are here so we can rescue them! Afterward, we can go locate how to open the portal!" The heroes nodded as they all split ways to look around the castle.
