"How's everyone doing?" Shez questioned as he looked back toward everyone. Claude was ahead of the group, guiding the group toward the location they were able to find. But the rest of the group was doing just fine.

Alcryst muttered, "Just as long as we stay on the pathway, we won't be able to lose sight of the castle." The rest nodded as they enjoyed the soft breeze.

"We're just so close, if only there was a way to get there faster," Celica muttered. Then she heard a loud rumbling in the distance. "G-GAHH!! WHAT WAS THAT!?"

Shez asked, "Yeah, what the hell was that anyways?!" They looked around and soon noticed that there was something approaching them. "W-Wait a second!"

"RAAHHH!!!" The creatures shouted. The heroes looked above them and noticed those were... winged serpents.

Alcryst said while panicking, "GAH! I THOUGHT THOSE THINGS WERE APART OF FANTASY!! I DIDN'T THINK THEY WERE REAL!!!"

"GODS WHAT THE HELL!?" Claude asked as he tried moving the wyverns into a different direction. But the serpents just followed them, Claude continued trying but there was nothing they could do. "DRAW YOUR WEAPONS! WE'RE GOING TO HAVE TO GET RID OF THEM!"

Celica shouted, "HOW?! THOSE CREATURES ARE MYSTICAL!!" They moved out of the way and looked over in confusion. Celica shot a spell at the serpents and they moved out of the way.

"Who even created these?" Veyle questioned as he casted a spell. She looked over and noticed that the serpents were still there. "Ugh! I can't believe we don't even know a way to defeat them!"

Claude shouted, "Keep on guard! We don't know what else could happen!" They flew on over and attacked the serpents. Then together, they attacked them at once. Not even that could work out in the end. "Goddamnit!"

"AHAHAHAHA!" A voice echoed. The heroes looked around in confusion as Claude felt himself sinking into realization of who that voice was. In the meantime, Alcryst shot arrows in place of Claude. The wyverns helped heroes avoid the attacks in different shapes and forms.

Claude muttered, "Chrom... what did they do to you..." Alcryst tapped Claude's shoulder as the two shot an arrow at one of the serpents. That one disappeared into thin air, there were only three left. "Okay... one down."

Shez cheered, "ALRIGHT!! WE ONLY GOT THREE LEFT! COME ON EVERYONE!" The heroes nodded and flew on over to them. Suddenly one of the serpents shot out a venomous spit. Shez was able to barely dodge the attack alongside Celica and Veyle. "That was far too close for my own likings..."

"HISSS!!!" The serpent shouted. The heroes looked at him as Claude pierced an arrow at one of them. But the serpent was able to successfully dodge it without any problems whatsoever. Claude took a deep breath and soared the wyvern into the air. Alcryst did his best not to get too startled from the sudden rise into the air.

Celica muttered, "So we were able to defeat one of these with the help of Claude and Alcryst shooting arrows at them..." The heroes looked at one another as one of the serpents flew over and attempted to bite Kirby's wyvern. Kirby jumped up and slammed his sword on one of them. That serpent went flying down as Alcryst shot an arrow at the serpent.

It disappeared after the arrow hit the serpent, the heroes looked over at the two that were remaining. Veyle looked around them and thought for a moment."Hm... how are we going to get the other two down with ease?" The heroes glared at the serpents as Claude felt his heart hurting from the pain he felt deep down inside.

Claude muttered, "They're manipulating him just to send out mystical beings... Chrom doesn't even have this power what is this?!" He looked over and saw one of the serpents attempting to spit at Claude's wyvern. He moved out of the way just in time while Alcryst felt himself getting dizzy. Claude took a deep breath and shot an arrow at one of the serpents.

"RAGHH!" The serpent shouted. It dashed at Claude as he started flying the wyvern away from the serpent. Alcryst held tight onto Claude and the wyvern. Soon Shez moved his wyvern over as Celica and Veyle shot a spell together at the serpent. The serpent disappeared after the attack was performed.

Claude muttered, "Alright we got one more left. Let's make it count."

"Claude, you don't seem that excited, is something troubling you a bit?" Alcryst questioned. Claude stared at him and then shook his head. Alcryst was worried but he had to take Claude's word for granted. Then the two flew over to assist Kirby and Gooey. They did their best to fend off the serpent but soon it became too much.

"HISS!!" The serpent then shot out a spit at Kirby and it landed on the wyvern directly. Kirby looked over in fear and felt that the wyvern was starting to get tired, the bites were a lot for them to handle; there was no way the wyvern was going to survive.

Kirby shouted, "CLAUDE!! WE'RE IN BIG TROUBLE HERE!!" Claude looked over and soared on over. He jumped onto the wyvern Kirby was on and ordered him and Gooey to get on the wyvern Alcryst was on.

"HANG ON TIGHT BUDDY I'LL GET YOU SOMETHING TO HEAL WITH!" Claude shouted. The heroes watched as Claude soared down onto the ground. They wanted to follow him but they knew that Claude could handle himself. The heroes got prepared to attack the last serpent.

Veyle muttered, "I think it's a miracle we didn't get hit by the serpent's spits... but that poor wyvern..."

"Claude is a professional, he knows how to handle them," Shez replied. Then the heroes ordered the wyverns to get closer to the serpent. The serpent got ready to spit at them as Shez stabbed his sword into one of them. Celica then shot a spell at the serpent, with both of the attacks, the serpent was defeated.

Kirby asked, "Should we check on Claude to make sure everything is okay?"

"Claude will meet us as soon as the wyvern is healthy again, we must get going to the castle as soon as possible," Shez explained. The heroes nodded as they flew around in order to find the castle.
