"Hehe," Zethus Byleth giggled. He had just learned the news that Marth had been killed off by the heroes. But the town was still on fire, but the fire had died down. Zehira Rafal walked in as Zethus Byleth turned over. "Looks like the first part of the plan was a success..."
Zehira Rafal questioned, "Oh really now? Are you so certain that the entire plan itself will be successful?"
"I am more than certain it will..." Zethus Byleth giggled. He looked down at the book and scrolled through the pages of the book. "How interesting... this entire book is filled with different things, I can cast so many different spells."
Zehira Rafal sighed, "Well do what you want to do, I'll go ahead and wait for your next plan since you know how to get things done..." Zethus Byleth looked up and turned to Zehira Rafal. "I never was trying to insult you."
Zethus Byleth grumbled, "Easy for you to say, you said that you weren't proud of me after I failed at doing that task, but knowing you... I won't stand down."
"I wasn't proud of you at that moment because you were being an imbecile. This is the WHOLE REASON as to why Chrom managed to win the war! WE WERE SO CLOSE BUT YOU WERE AN ABSOLUTE IDIOT AND IT DIDN'T WORK," Zehira Rafal yelled. Zethus Byleth rolled his eyes and walked away from him.
Zethus Byleth muttered, "I'm assuming you're just jealous of your own son being more supreme than you were?"
"What?!"
"You gave me your power so I would succeed, that plan failed so who really is the idiotic one here?" Zethus Byleth mocked. Zehria Rafal stood there staring at Byleth but then he turned around. "I thought so, you're just as 'idiotic' as I am."
Zehira Rafal groaned, "I would appreciate it if you knocked off with that attitude." Zethus Byleth giggled as Zehira Rafal started to get more and more infuriated. "YOU."
Zethus Byleth asked, "What is it?"
"YOU... YOU ARE NOTHING MORE BUT PATHETIC!" Zethus Byleth looked at him in disbelief, as Zehira Rafal shoved him onto the ground. Zethus Byleth looked up as Zehira Rafal got ready to slam his axe on Byleth. "You are ruining everything... so I'll do this for you-"
Suddenly Zethus Byleth stabbed a sword into Zehira Rafal. He collapsed onto the ground as Zethus Byleth smiled at him. "You were saying?" Then Zehira Rafal reverted back to normal. "Trust me Father, Rafal is far more reliable than you are. You're just nothing..."
He smiled down at Rafal as Rafal slowly opened his eyes. "W-What the hell?!" Rafal walked backward in fear as he looked at Zethus Byleth. He didn't say anything. "What the hell did you do to my body!?"
Zethus Byleth groaned, "A regret, but now that's out of you. You should thank me." Rafal stared at him in confusion as Zethus Byleth walked away from him. Rafal got up and dusted himself off. "You know I'm not actually Byleth... right?"
Rafal asked, "What?" Zethus Byleth looked back at him and smiled. Then he casted a spell on him. Locked under his command just like he did with the heroes. He took a deep breath and looked out the window. Zehira was no more, he was the only one left. He was far superior than his own father.
Zethus Byleth muttered, "Father, I am so much BETTER than you are. You were an imbecile, I know exactly what I'm doing unlike you... you are NOTHING! You weren't there when I was killed off, and you were a sickening father. You know damn well I will be better than you..." Then he casted a spell around the castle.
He smiled widely as more and more energy started flowing through him. He was draining the energy the kidnapped heroes had leftover. He felt like everything was all his, that power was finally in his hands. Only that, just power...
"AHAHAHAHA!! I'LL SHOW YOU ZEHIRA!!! I'LL SHOW YOU THAT I CAN DEFEAT THE HEROES MYSELF JUST BY USING A VESSEL!! YOU'LL SEE!!"
"NO!!" Byleth yelled. Zethus Byleth looked back at him and smiled. The two stared at each other as Byleth felt himself nearly breaking down at the sight of everything going on. "Are you always going to put me through constant suffering?"
Zethus Byleth giggled, "Why of course I am... after I get rid of you... you'll be thanking me. I will say Byleth, you are nothing... nothing but pathetic. You can't even fight for yourself."
"YOU CHAINED ME UP!! OF COURSE I CAN'T FIGHT FOR MYSELF!" Byleth screamed as tears nearly flooded his eyes. Zethus Byleth smiled at him and turned around. He walked forward a little as Byleth attempted to break free.
Zethus Byleth sighed, "You'll be taking all the blame after I successfully get rid of the heroes for good. I'll be more than grateful for you to take all that blame..." Byleth stared up at him as he giggled again.
"Is that what you like the most? Having me take all the blame in everything? You love it so much when I'm in constant PAIN AND SUFFERING!! THIS IS WHAT YOU LIKE THE MOST HUH!?" Byleth shouted. He nearly broke down in tears as Zethus Byleth turned over to face him.
Zethus Byleth giggled, "You deserve all of it. You don't deserve anything good in your life. And I'll make sure to destroy it... so let's get this started..." He walked closer and closer to Byleth as he started shaking.
"LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE!!"
"Leave you alone? We're just getting this started..." Zethus Byleth got ready to cast a spell as Byleth looked at him in fear. "Goodbye..."
"NO-"
