It became daytime, the snow was still falling down. Byleth looked around the area and looked up to where Elusia castle was. He took a deep breath and kept walking down the pathway to the abandoned chapel. Soon he was suddenly attacked by a hoard of archers.
Byleth grunted, "What the..." Then the queen of Elusia walked over and looked down at Byleth. "Queen Ivy!?"
Ivy replied, "I don't know what you're doing here but... you have to leave immediately."
"You don't recognize me as one of the heroes?" Ivy glared at him and ordered the wyverns to come over to attack as well. They looked down at Byleth and Ivy took a deep breath.
Ivy sighed, "I know you're one of the heroes but we did not ask for aid, nor are you with anyone,"
"You're right about that queen; however, I'm only here to retrieve something for the heroes. They asked me to do so," Byleth explained.
Ivy asked, "What nonsense are you talking about?!"
Byleth replied, "I'm looking for something, something to refer to... the scroll of the scriptor,"
Ivy questioned, "What in the world are you even remotely talking about? No such thing even exists in this place!"
"It does indeed, if I have to kill you then I will. Even if you do not like it or not..." Byleth took out his sword and smiled. Ivy looked down at him and back at the soldiers. "Tick tock Queen Ivy. I will kill all your soldiers and then you if you are so dumb enough to not let me past your borders,"
Ivy grunted, "Why do you want a scroll so badly!?"
"Simple! I just want to gain more power. Do you understand how I feel?" Byleth asked as he looked at Queen Ivy's army. Ivy looked over and back at Byleth. She took a deep breath and got ready to shoot a spell at Byleth.
Ivy muttered, "You have one more chance... you will leave this place immediately and you will swear to NEVER return again! Do you understand me?"
"Well I can't swear to never return! After all, I work with the heroes, but not only do I need it for power we need it for research!"
Ivy responded, "What are you talking about?! You need it for power and for research!? Those two points don't even align!" She got ready as Byleth immediately whipped the soldiers. They fell back or fell onto the ground. Ivy looked around in horror and back at Byleth.
Byleth mocked, "You were saying?" Ivy shot the spell down at Byleth as he was able to successfully dodge. He jumped into the air and tried whipping Ivy but she was able to get out of the way. Byleth landed on the sides of the castles and stared up at her. "LET ME GET THE BOOK!!"
Ivy shouted, "NEVER! YOU WILL NEVER GET YOUR HANDS ON ANYTHING!" She got up into the air and casted a fire spell on Byleth. He barely dodged the attack and looked up. Ivy got ready to shoot another spell as Byleth used his sword to grab onto Ivy's wyvern. "No, what are you doing?!"
Byleth shouted, "HAAAH!!" He launched himself up and was able to push the wyvern onto the ground. They fell onto the snow as Ivy slowly got up and got ready to cast another spell.
Ivy grunted, "Don't you dare get anywhere near me... you are a monster from the underworld. I don't like it one bit..." Byleth froze after Ivy made that statement. He looked down at himself and back at Ivy. Slowly getting his sword ready to whip Ivy again.
Byleth announced, "I'm no demon! I'm just the key to perfection! Once that scroll is mine I'll be at ease! You do realize how much this entire thing means to me?! Of course you do, if you were intelligent enough you would let me get my hands on that scroll!"
"If you were intelligent enough... you would know I would never let your hands get on that scroll..." Ivy grunted as she fell onto the ground. She looked up at Byleth who looked prepared to kill her. "What... are you going to kill me now?"
Byleth whispered, "I would never..." He then tied Ivy up with a rope he had in his handbag. He turned over and smiled at Ivy as she tried to break free. "Now... if you excuse me I have a scroll to get my hands on."
"NO! YOU COME BACK HERE AT ONCE!"
"Not a damn chance..." Byleth muttered as he walked down the snowy road. Ivy looked around and slowly was able to get up, yet her entire body was tied up. Byleth kept walking down the snowy path and looked up ahead.
Ivy ordered, "YOU WILL NOT GET AWAY WITH THIS!!" She tried walking forward but she could feel herself losing her balance. Nearly collapsing onto the ground just by trying to walk. Byleth kept on walking down the snowy road and looked back at Ivy.
"Go ahead and send some soldiers to try to stop me! Unfortunately they won't stand a chance against my powers, I don't care about what you say or do... I will just be victorious in the end," Byleth mocked as he continued walking down. "This is perfection you're looking at."
Ivy asked, "Perfection?! Are you nuts?! Nobody is perfect!"
"I AM! I AM PERFECT AND BY DOING SO I WILL FIND A WAY TO DESTROY YOU!!" Byleth shouted. He turned around and dashed down the path. Ivy looked at him and fell onto the snow again. She looked around and took a deep breath.
Ivy muttered, "There's something corrupting him... but what is it?"
