"Father, what do you think of my dress?" Lucina asked as she came out and showed Chrom her dress she had on.

Chrom laughed, "I think it's an absolutely wonderful dress, sweetheart."

"I think so too! It looks so pretty and I wanted to show you after Aunt Lissa picked it up!" Lucina replied while giggling. Chrom laughed and hugged her tight. "I'm so excited! The wedding is in 5 more days and I honestly cannot wait for it!"

Chrom laughed, "Me too sweetheart. Your step-father is getting everything prepared for that big day! He's done so much for us we just have to make this day absolutely perfect!"

"I agree!" Then Morgan came walking over and pulled Chrom's cape.

Chrom asked, "What do you need Morgan?" He got down to his level as Morgan stared at him.

"I'm... I'm a little hungry," Morgan replied. Chrom nodded and helped Morgan to the kitchen. The two looked around until eventually Morgan picked out a sandwich to eat. Chrom happily made it for him and made a sandwich for Lucina as well. The children ate with one another as Chrom watched them.

He felt overwhelmed with the amount of joy he was feeling. He couldn't wait any longer for the big day. Claude was out preparing but he was just thinking about spending his time with Claude. That's all that was on his mind, thinking about Claude and how much of a wonderful person he was. Soon the children finished eating as Chrom washed the dishes himself. He felt joyous, he couldn't contain it.

Lucina laughed, "Father! You just look so happy today I couldn't help but say something about it." Chrom looked over and gently smiled toward Lucina. Morgan nodded eagerly alongside her.

"I can't help it Luci, I'm getting remarried again and it just feels like a dream come true... I loved Claude for so long and today is the day we get married. I remember when I first developed a crush on him, he was the most amazing man I have ever met..." Chrom laughed. The children laughed too as they ran to the living room.

Morgan giggled, "I can't wait for Claude to be our step-dad!" Chrom nodded in agreement as he sat down on the couch and continued to watch the children happily play with one another. Soon he noticed a knock on the door. He walked over and opened the door, it was Sumia and Chase.

Sumia laughed, "Hey there Chrom! Lovely day we're having and congratulations on the marriage again!" The three embraced each other as the children they had with them raced over to play with Lucina and Morgan. The three sat on the couch carefully making sure the children didn't get into trouble.

"You're getting married to an amazing person! You should be grateful this is all happening at once!" Chase cheered as they watched the children play. Chrom nodded as he took a deep breath. His cheeks warmed up at the thought of thinking about Claude. He had been so busy as of late they hadn't had enough time to hang out with one another.

Sumia questioned, "Where's Claude by the way?"

"Getting the finalizations done, he won't be home often so I'm here taking care of the children to make sure everything goes well," Chrom replied. Sumia nodded as they watched the kids.

Lucina sighed, "Tessa, do you wonder about how your parents got married? I get to see my father get married to my future step-father but... I wasn't born when my father married my mother."

"Eehh, sometimes I wonder about that but I like to think about it through my imagination," Tessa replied while giggling. The others were playing tag with one another as Tessa and Lucina colored on the ground.

Lucina sighed, "My father has seen a lot. He tells me every now and then that he misses my mom a lot and then he breaks down crying. It's been like this for a while... I think it has been for the past 6 years... mom has been dead for that long already..."

"Auntie Emelia would've been such a nice person... she loved you guys right?"

Lucina nodded, "Oh yes she did, she did everything for us while father was busy. I really do miss her... wishing she was still here with us. Mom always loved telling us stories and giving us kisses goodnight. Dad does that too and I love it when he does it. He does a lot of things that mom does..."

"Uncle Chrom does things that Aunt Emma did?" Tessa looked at her coloring page and then back at her sisters. Lucina nodded as she finished coloring. She looked at the page and smiled.

Lucina laughed, "One second, gonna go ahead and give this to father!" Tessa nodded as Lucina dashed on over to Chrom. He was talking with Sumia and Chase as Lucina showed the drawing. "Look! Look! I made this just for you and step-father!" Chrom looked over and smiled at the coloring page.

Chrom laughed, "Lucina I love it! This is wonderful!" Lucina smiled at him as she gave him a great big hug. Chrom hugged her back as the others laughed alongside them.
