"HAHH!!!" Byleth shouted as he slammed his sword against Chrom. Chrom fell backward and already felt blood on his face. Byleth dashed in for another attack but Chrom successfully was able to block. They pushed one another; however, Byleth was clear to be the winner.

Chrom thought, "I'm not as strong as I used to be... What is going on!?" Byleth then shoved Chrom down onto the snow. Chrom fell down and got prepared to block again. Just like that Alear dashed in and slammed her sword against Byleth's arm. He fell back and saw there was blood coming out and a cut in his sleeve.

Byleth mocked, "Ooh that was a clever attack Alear, unfortunately for you I know so much more than you do..." Alear looked at him and jumped backward as Byleth attempted to whip her. Suddenly an arrow struck Byleth directly in the back. He turned around and spotted Alcryst there.

"You leave both of them alone," Alcryst muttered. Byleth smiled and dashed at him. He wrapped his sword around Alcryst and dragged him over. "GAH!"

Byleth laughed, "I guess today is the day where you finally die!"

"NO!" Chrom dashed over and slammed his sword against Byleth. He dropped his sword and fell onto the ground in pain. He looked at the three and back down at himself. "What else do you have to say?"

Byleth muttered, "I am never done... I won't stop until all of you are out of my way. Even if that means killing one of you again..." Meanwhile the other heroes were dealing with the villains.

Beth laughed, "Seems to me you guys are a lot easier to deal with! Did that pathetic death get to you?"

"Oh please, you don't get to speak because you weren't one of the members to even remotely witness it," Agent 4 said as he rolled his eyes. The villains smiled at one another as they all dashed in to attack. Luckily the heroes were able to dodge.

Kirby yelled, "We need different heroes to focus on each of the villains! Come on, there's only six of them! We can handle them with ease!"

"What do you suggest we do then?" Link questioned.

Kirby ordered, "LET'S JUST SPLIT OFF AND FIGHT THEM!" The heroes nodded and did as told. The villains were overwhelmed with the attacks and all fell backward. Meanwhile the others were fighting Byleth. He was still able to fight despite all the damage inflicted onto him.

Byleth laughed, "You guys are nothing compared to me! I've only become stronger thanks to the scroll and the book!"

"How idiotic can you be?! That scroll and book is driving you mad!" Alcryst shouted. Byleth looked at him and got ready to whip him when Chrom and Alear struck him from behind. He fell down again and looked at them. He had blood all over his clothing and so did the heroes. Most of it was Byleth's blood yet he was still standing.

Alear grunted, "There's something from the scroll or the book that's affecting how strong he is... he's able to withstand most of our attacks with ease while he should be terribly injured or possibly dead!"

"Yeah... there's something really off about how Byleth is able to take our attacks with ease... Plus the snow is slowing us down a lot..." Chrom groaned as he looked down at himself. Byleth smiled as slowly got up from the ground again.

Byleth sighed, "Not only do I have my worthless team members from Team Villain working with me but... I do have someone else with me." The heroes stood there in confusion. Meanwhile, the villains were being beaten.

Marth grunted, "If we disappoint Byleth we will never be able to see the light of day again..."

Beth sighed, "Who cares about disappointing him?! What about our dignity!?" The villains looked at one another and back at the heroes. The heroes got ready to fight again in case the villains got ready to pounce.

Marth shouted, "GET THEM!" The villains got up and dashed in to attack the heroes. Luckily the heroes were able to dodge the attacks with ease once more. Eirika dashed in and slammed her sword against Eula's claymore. The two fought with one another but Eula won and shoved her away.

Ephraim asked, "Is this even the right thing to do?! What if we never please Byleth?!"

"I don't give a damn about your complaints! He doesn't care about us unless we actually succeed! COME ON!!" Marth shouted. The villains dashed in again but they were pushed away from the heroes.

Shez sighed, "Maybe you should learn to be a little more strategic when it comes to trying to defeat us. But you guys did a good job overall!"

"I'm... I'm going to kill you..." Marth groaned. But he collapsed on the ground. Back with the others the heroes were introduced to none other than Rafal.

Byleth laughed, "Me and him are working together. We're now a power duo whether you like it or not..."

"RAFAL!? You're really choosing to work with Byleth over us?!" Alear questioned. Rafal glared at her and then turned to Byleth.

Byleth laughed, "Well he doesn't want to answer your question. So actually let's get the real game started..." The two got ready and dashed at the heroes. The heroes got ready to defend but immediately were hit by the two.

"AH!" Alear shouted as she fell backward. Chrom got in front of her and prepared to defend him and Alear.

Rafal mocked, "You're really going to protect Alear than to protect yourself? I must say that's a bold move..."

"I don't even care if I get hurt, I don't want anyone else to get hurt..." Chrom mumbled.

Rafal groaned, "I swear you heroes never are different, all about the same stuff. Especially you, Chrom... I heard all about what happened during 2065 and earlier this year. You should know better than this..."

"That person you knew is long dead, I'm no longer that type of person... I never will be that person," Chrom said with doubt in his voice. The two smiled and dashed at Chrom. Alcryst did his best to try to slow them down but soon Time froze.

Chrom sighed, "I need to do this, I gained the ability to do this... and I will use this power wisely..." Chrom took of this watch and it transformed into a potion for him to use. He took a deep breath and walked over to Byleth and poured it on him. Then he fell backward slowly afterward.

Time unfroze and Byleth was covered in the strange material Chrom had placed on him. Byleth looked around himself and back at Chrom. Then rage filled his eyes. The strange purple aura surrounded him again, Chrom knew it didn't work and fear filled his body.

"YOU THOUGHT THAT WOULD WORK?!" Byleth laughed. Chrom took out his sword again but soon Byleth wrapped his sword around Chrom. Chrom felt his heart racing inside of him. He was terrified, he was unable to break himself free. Even with freezing time there was no way out.

Chrom shouted, "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!"

"NOTHING IS WRONG WITH ME YOU PATHETIC BITCH! YOU ARE NOTHING TO ME AS I SAID AND NOW I WILL FINALLY RID OF YOU!" Byleth shouted. Chrom stared at him and looked down at him.

Chrom thought, "What even happened to my best friend?" Then Byleth swung his sword around. Alear slowly looked up and saw Chrom being swung around.

"CHROM!!!"

"AHHHH!!!!" Then Byleth threw him against the wall. Chrom slammed into it and fell onto the ground.

Alear shouted, "CHROM!!!!" She dashed over to check on him but he was bruised up and blood was all over him. Alcryst ran over and Alear was shaking a ton. "GET MARIANNE NOW!!"

Byleth sighed, "Our work here is done Rafal. Now let's go." He nodded as the two vanished from the scene. Alear looked at them and looked up into the clouds.

Alear whispered, "Chrom... please tell me you'll be okay..."
