Reminders of The Neighbors ~ Chapter 116

 "Come on!" Shez ordered. The heroes looked over and nodded. They started walking their way to the Dawn Library. After beating Mickey they knew the exact spot of this library. Hidden, but they knew where it was if they were just careful.

Veyle asked, "I've never been in Dawn's Library before, do you know what it looks like?"

"The only ones that did go to the library are Ayato, Byleth and Chrom... everyone else they just... stayed behind as they grabbed books discussing Asternia," Shez explained.

Celica wondered, "I wonder what Asternia looks like, they're one of our neighboring planets and I'm very curious."

"Well we can always travel there, but since we have a situation on our hands we are unable to do so," Shez replied.

Gooey waved his tongue around and looked at Kirby. "Wait a moment, isn't there a situation transpiring in Asternia itself?" Shez looked down at him in confusion.

Shez replied, "I'm not sure if I know what you're talking about, what exactly is going on over there?" Kirby looked down at himself in sadness and then took a deep breath.

Kirby explained, "They closed the borders due to some outbreak going on there. People are dying, people are being infected... It reminds me of the Fire Dawn war... it just feels like a repeat but..."

"What the..." Shez muttered.

Celica asked, "Is that really what's going on there? Oh that's horrible! We should try to help them!"

"Well bad news Celica, the borders to Asternia are closed off, Albedo isn't here with us AND we also have to deal with the Zethus and Zehira issue!" Elfilin exclaimed. Celica looked down at herself and took a deep breath.

Celica sighed, "You're right, even if this situation wasn't in the way we would have a rough time getting to them. All I wish for them to know is that they have the heroes of Dawn's support."

"Agreed, I want to tell them that but it's extremely difficult to actually have a chance to talk to the Asternians... even if this situation wasn't in the way," Shez replied with a small smile. The heroes looked at him and smiled.

Gooey waved his tongue at Shez and he looked down. Kirby was getting prepared to translate for him. "Gooey asked if you know anything about the Asternians as he is unfamiliar with them." Shez looked at Gooey and back at Kirby. He nodded as he took a deep breath.

Shez explained, "Apparently the Asternians have dealt with quite a bit of situations. The Mickey Mouse situation that transpired during the war, a void opening due to certain things happening somewhere called 'Blazer.' Finally, they dealt with a... competition fight of some sort?

It was just basically a fight between two guys named Sasuke and Kira. They were both out for revenge of some sort and yeah... long story short they managed to repair this and sort of are friendly?"

"But uh... we have no news of who's alive or not during this strange event happening," Elfilin sighed. Kirby and Shez sadly nodded in agreement.

Celica giggled, "You guys know a bit about them. Are Dawn and Asternia partners of some sort?"

"I don't think it's declared, otherwise Erica would've said something about this," Shez replied. Celica nodded as the heroes finally stopped walking. "Oh, while we were discussing it looks like we got to the library!"

Veyle cheered, "Wow, the library is huge!"

"It sure looks like it... I'm so impressed with the setting, no wonder why it's so hard to find this library. Alright, let's get inside," Shez said with a smile.

Celica asked, "Wait! I want to ask you a few more questions about Asternia. I would like to know about the people there. They seem like kindhearted folks." She smiled as Shez nodded and turned around.

Shez muttered, "Is... there anyone you want to know in particular?"

"I'm not sure, there's just so many people I don't know who I should know of, but let's start easy and simple, who are their rulers?" Celica questioned.

Shez explained, "Originally it was Jaden but then we were able to deal with him due to the Mickey situation here in Dawn and now that ruler is Lilith!"

Celica said with a smile, "That's great to hear, I sure wonder what Jaden was like... did he care for the people at all?"

"Can... I mention one thing?" Kirby questioned.

"Sure thing," Kirby looked down at himself and took a deep breath.

Kirby groaned, "I heard the situation transpiring in Asternia is done by spirits but this has been all unconfirmed. Also if this is the case I think Byleth is trying to please them!"

"Is... is he stupid?" Celica asked.

Veyle giggled, "First I heard you say that!"

Celica announced, "If this is the case is that world Byleth stupid? You don't just run around pleasing something as lonesome as a spirit, that just makes you not any better than them." The heroes giggled as Celica's face turned red. "Gah! Forget I said anything!"

Shez laughed, "You're perfectly fine Celica... let's get inside the library now to find our answers, after all that's what we're here for!" The heroes nodded as one by one they entered the library.
