Burnt Ruins Clash ~ Chapter 126

"Did any of you get anything new?"

"Nothing at all... we're unable to locate Byleth and we're in a tight situation..." Veyle sighed. Shez nodded when all of a sudden they heard a loud crash in the distance. They looked over and it appeared to be... someone they were familiar with.

Shez asked, "Who are you and what do you want from us?" Then the person made themselves very clear... It was Classic Sonic? "Wait... Classic Sonic is that you?" Soon Classic Tails came flying over and smiled at Shez.

"Hey there Shez! It's good to see you!" Classic Tails cheered. Classic Sonic nodded as the Shez stared at the two in confusion. "Sorry to scare you like that, Sonic is just like that-"

"AHH!!" Someone screamed. Shez dashed over alongside Classic Tails and Sonic. Soon they spotted that it was Beth attacking.

Shez laughed, "Surprise she's still following his orders. Alright let's get this started!" The two nodded as the rest of the heroes dashed over to assist. "HAH!" Shez slammed his sword against Beth's sword but she blocked it just in time.

Beth mocked, "About time the rest of you heroes decided to show up! I'll show you no mercy whatsoever!" Then she swung her sword at Shez. He jumped back as Classic Sonic spin-dashed into her. Beth fell backward and looked over. Celica walked over and casted a fire spell but she dodged that.

Celica muttered, "She must be the last remaining member of Zethus' crew to be working with him. I wonder why..." The heroes nodded as they raised their weapons together. Beth smiled at them as she got her sword ready. Then she jumped at them and attacked Celica. Celica fell backward and Veyle dashed to aid her.

"That's too bad, I wish for something far harder to deal with but this will do..." Beth mocked. Celica looked over in anger as Beth dashed at her again. But Kirby jumped in the way as Beth hit him. He fell against the ground but he wasn't too badly injured.

Kirby asked, "Celica! Hurry! We need to deal with Beth!" She nodded as she threw a fire spell at Beth. She was hit and dropped her sword. Classic Tails dashed over and grabbed the sword from the ground.

"MY SWORD!!" Beth screamed. She looked over at the heroes and then dashed at them. She kicked Classic Tails onto the ground and grabbed her sword back. Suddenly, Kirby dashed behind her, slamming his sword against hers. "GAH!!" She fell back onto the ground as well as dropping her sword.

Veyle sighed, "You really need to get better at not losing grip of your sword Beth..." Beth glared at her and grabbed her sword again. She launched herself at Veyle attempting to attack her. However, Celica jumped in and slammed her sword against Beth's sword.

"YOU HEROES ARE ALWAYS TRYING TO BE PERFECTION!! HOW COME MY LOUSY BROTHER ALWAYS FINDS A WAY TO DEFEAT YOU!?" Beth shouted. The heroes looked at her in confusion.

Kirby asked, "Your brother isn't even the one in control-"

"HE IS THE ONE WHO TOOK THE CROWN AND DECLARED HIMSELF AS THE LEADER LIKE THE IMBECILE HE IS!! I WISH TO KILL HIM BUT WE CAN'T GET EVERYTHING WE WANT?!" Beth screamed.

Celica suggested, "Beth, why don't you take a breather?-" Suddenly Beth slammed her blade against Celica.

"NO!" Classic Tails shouted. Together, Classic Sonic and Tails spin-dashed into Beth. She was launched backward and slammed onto the ground. She got herself up again before being knocked down again by Alcryst shooting several arrows at her.

Elfilin sighed, "She's not as tough as she wants herself to be..." Beth slowly got up while using one sword but she was weakened down by a ton. "She's still trying to fight!? I thought we already beat her!"

Classic Tails muttered, "I don't think she's a quitter of any sorts. I think she despises being a quitter..." The heroes nodded as Beth dashed at them.

"I'LL KILL YOU AND THEN MY BROTHER WON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO BE PROUD OF!!" Beth shouted. She slammed her sword against the heroes. They jumped back as Celica got prepared to throw another spell at her. "LEAVE ME ALONE!!"

Celica yelled, "NOT A CHANCE!!" Then she threw a spell at Beth. She fell backward and looked over in pain, she was beyond furious but she didn't care. She wanted one hero dead so her brother didn't need to steal everything.

"You..." Beth grunted. She jumped into the air and slammed her sword against Celica. She fell backward as the rest of the heroes stood in front of her. Alcryst shot an arrow at Beth but she dodged that. She dashed at the heroes before Shez jumped in and slammed his blades against her. Soon Beth fell backward, hitting the ground harshly.

Beth groaned, "You heroes can be so annoying at times..." Then Shez walked up to her, kicking her sword out of the way and pointing one of his swords at Beth. "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT FROM ME?!"

Shez ordered, "Why are you attacking us?" Beth looked up at Shez and then toward the heroes. She didn't bother to respond, soon Shez got ready to slam his swords on Beth.

"HEY! LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE!" Beth ordered. Shez didn't reply, he just got even more prepared to slam his blades on Beth. "OKAY ENOUGH I'LL GO AHEAD AND TELL YOU GUYS!!"

Celica sighed, "It wasn't that hard now was it? You seem to be just an annoyance all the time, and if you hate your brother why do you work under his command?!"

"Also are you even aware-"

"SHUT UP!! SHUT THE HELL UP!!" Beth shouted. The heroes stood there staring at her as Beth looked down at herself. "Fine I'll give you my answers to all of that if you just shut the hell up." The heroes nodded as Beth took a deep breath.
