Tornado of Forbidden Winds ~ Chapter 45

"AHHH!!" Alear shouted. The winds were far too powerful for them to stay in the path they were in. They had to split up and they were unable to withstand the winds.

Alcryst shouted, "HURRY! THIS WAY!!" The heroes flew in the direction of where Alcryst pointed and the tornado started tearing apart the forest.

"This forest... so beautiful and now it's been wrecked?! Torn apart?! What is even going on?" Alear asked. Soon the heroes noticed the town. They flew down as quickly as possible and landed. From there they saw the other heroes looking around the town.

Sonic asked, "Aren't you guys supposed to be on route to Icarus Mountains?"

"We were but..." The heroes looked ahead and saw the horrible storm that was happening in the Abigail forest. "There's a situation in the forest..." The heroes watched the tornado wreck the entire forest.

Albedo shouted, "WEATHER BOT!" Then the Weather Bot came strolling by. "What's going on over there!? Did we predict a tornado?!"

"No we didn't! In fact the tornado doesn't even seem to be the work of Mother Nature?! Instead this feels to be the work of some strange dark magic that's lingering around the area..." Weather Bot explained. The heroes felt the wind speed pick up a lot more.

Kirby stammered, "Whatever is going on... we need to get rid of it FAST!" The heroes nodded and got to work. Marianne casted a spell to see if she can slow down the wind speed. Albedo was working on something trying to see if he could make anything to help with the storm.

Kazuha shouted, "THE WINDS ARE SO STRONG! GODS A TORNADO HASN'T FORMED HERE IN AGES!!"

"No... it really hasn't, last time I remember was back during 2062..."

"THAT LONG!?" Several heroes questioned. Sonic nodded as they stared up into the sky.

Albedo grunted, "I know Byleth is the one behind this... why else would a tornado spawn in this area?!"

"Byleth just wants to see chaos happen... that's why," Chrom grunted. Then soon Kazuha was able to find a way to slow down the winds. Tree branches were thrown at the tornado and it somehow managed to slow down.

Alear yelled, "THROW NATURAL THINGS AT THE TORNADO! IT'LL SLOW THE THING DOWN!" The heroes did as they were told and started grabbing things and throwing it at the tornado. "It's working!"

Weather bot exclaimed, "The winds are still getting stronger! We need to fix this fast!" The heroes looked at one another in worry when suddenly they heard rumbling in the distance. It was... snow? "WHAT THE-" Then Gooey popped out of the snow.

Kirby shouted, "GOOEY!!"

"IT'S ABOUT BYLETH! HE CAUSED THE TORNADO AND IS CLIMBING CLOSER TO ICARUS MOUNTAIN!" Suddenly right as he said that it began to slowly start snowing.

Eula asked, "Weather bot... were we due for snow?"

"Yeah we were," Weather Bot replied. The heroes looked at one another and back at the tornado. Now it was covered in snow. Chrom looked at himself and took out a spell book.

Chrom thought, "Maybe I can cast it away with this spell."

"Are you sure it's going to work?" Link asked.

Chrom replied, "I have no choice but to at least try, if we don't even bother trying how are we going to save our world now?" The heroes nodded as Chrom walked ahead. He looked through the pages and got the spell ready. Just like that he jumped ahead and casted the spell. "HAHH!!!"

The snow tornado was actually slowly disappearing, the extreme wind speeds were dying down. Soon it finally vanished from the scene. Now was left was the drifting snow that was falling slowly onto the ground.

"That's over now," Chrom sighed.

Shez explained, "That's great and all but we're still at risk! Remember Byleth is still in the Icarus Mountains! If we're not quick enough he will get his hands on the book!" Chrom took a deep breath and nodded.

Sonic sighed, "You all need to be very careful about what you're doing. We're not too sure what he's even planning. Worst of all he wants that Crown."

"Oh, the storm interrupted us when you were about to explain the Crown of Zerus, what is that about?" Alear asked.

Zhongli explained, "Based on what Marth told me and what I know, the Crown of Zerus is a crown from the Netherworld. Not much is known about this crown besides the fact it can corrupt the user and that it's from the Netherworld."

"I... I heard of this name before," Chrom stammered

"Y-You have?!" Zhongli questioned. Chrom slowly nodded as he looked down at himself. "How do you even know of this?"

Chrom explained, "Zehria told me about this crown. Saying that it was from the place he was from. Zehira had come from the Netherworld."

"That's... crazy! So that crown is for sure not anything good at all, we need to stay focused and make sure he NEVER gets his hands on the crown," Shez explained. The heroes nodded as the four got on the wyverns again. "All of you, take care!"

"We will!" Kirby cheered. Soon the heroes flew off again, as the others got ready to defend.
