The Discovered Truth ~ Chapter 112

"Hey Shez, I'm so glad you were able to read the notes I left behind. If you're reading this then something has happened to me, I wish I knew but... no I do, I do...

I was kidnapped by Byleth, I saw this coming a mile away. Anyways, enough of that. I want you to take this information in mind, me and Alear learned this from the mirror but please, please keep this in mind. It'll make sense later in the notes.

Those who roam around the world know the tale of this one. Feisty is he, but that won't be stopping anybody. Comeback has chased you back after what you did lord Peaceful of the holy land. The one you seek, is someone who wishes to take light against you... this is what the mirror told me a few days back," Shez looked down at Kirby as Kirby looked up at him.

Kirby asked, "Is this a riddle of some sort?"

"Most likely... but why is it a riddle? What exactly are we trying to solve?" Shez asked. Then he thought about it for a moment. He was unable to come up with anything.

The note continued, "I'm certain you didn't understand it, correct? I didn't understand it at first, but after thinking long and hard about it. I will tell you how to solve it, if done correctly the last note of mine should appear.

'Feisty is he,' this line in particular gives you two pieces of information. That the creator of the crown is feisty and the creator is a guy. 'Comeback has chased you back after what you did lord Peaceful of the holy land,' this line is referring to me. How is it referring to me you may ask?

I am the Exalt of Ylisse as you know; Ylisse is a holy land of sorts and is also referred to as to the land of Peace as well. Thinking about this, let's dive deeper. Comeback has chased me back, what do you believe this means?"

Kirby cheered, "It means that the person who created the crown is wanting to get back at Chrom after what he did!" Then a new card appeared. "Woah..."

The new note said, "Excellent, you were able to figure out that part of the riddle. Now let's keep on moving forward, this last bit is just the rest of the riddle so get ready. 'The one you seek, is someone who wishes to take light against you,' I want you to think very hard on this one, this may not be easy but it will all make sense.

Someone who wishes to take light against me, think about this line."

Shez muttered, "That's the rest of the note, so if we figure this last part we should be able to get the final note that explains in detail more information we need in order to stop Byleth's plan on whatever the hell he's trying to do."

Kirby said, "Right, but I don't exactly understand, there's lots of villains that would want to go against Chrom."

"But the crown came from the Netherworld, think about it... who else would want to go against Chrom..." Shez thought. The two stood there standing trying their best to understand the riddle. Suddenly Kirby did a huge gasp.

Kirby shouted, "SHEZ! THINK! NETHERWORLD, CROWN, WANTS TO HURT CHROM!"

"W-What?"

"SHEZ USE YOUR BRAIN YOU BIG DUMMY!!" Kirby shouted. Shez began to panic as he was unable to figure out what Kirby was able to discover.

Shez said, "Wait... crown, comes from the Netherworld... which means the person also comes from the Netherworld..."

"YES!"

"That means, the creator of the crown is from the Netherworld in some sort, which means this creator is also someone Chrom has beaten before..."

Kirby shouted, "YES!! YES!! CONTINUE!!"

"So... piecing it together, the creator of the crown is from the Netherworld which is someone Chrom has beaten before. The questioning is who exactly that is..." Kirby then threw himself on the bed. "K-Kirby!"

Kirby groaned, "Shez... the answer is right in your hands... just use your brain PLEASEEE..." Shez stood there in confusion. He was getting somewhere but he couldn't figure out what exactly he was trying to get.

Shez said, "What the hell!? Just tell me already!" Kirby sat up and stared at Shez. Shez saw how annoyed Kirby looked and he decided to stay quiet for now. He was unable to think of the answer, suddenly he remembered something very... very vital.

"As more and more time passed, Midnight found an escape and grabbed the crown from the case. However, in the process he came across Zehira and Zethus. They were planning to make the Netherworld their home, the place they were going to rule."

"WAIT..." Kirby sat up and looked at Shez. Shez's expression went from shock to complete and utter disbelief. "The creator of the Crown... of Zerus... has to be EITHER ZEHIRA OR ZETHUS!"

Kirby cheered, "YES YES YES!! NOW YOU NEED TO FIGURE OUT WHO EXACTLY IT IS!!"

"Well that's difficult, Chrom found a way to beat them both..." Shez sighed.

Kirby explained, "Think about it Shez! He did kill them both, yes but you need to think deeper. Chrom has more interactions with who exactly? Who would want to kill Chrom more than the other?" Shez stared at Kirby and stood there thinking he was having trouble yet again. The conclusion was so close yet so far.

Just like that Shez pieced the entire puzzle together. "IT HAS TO BE ZETHUS! THE CREATOR OF THE CROWN IS ZETHUS!" They looked back as another note appeared. They both smiled as Shez dashed to grab it.

"Congratulations! You have pieced the entire puzzle together and figured out the Crown of Zerus belongs to Zethus, now... who is possessing Byleth?" 

Shez yelled, "THERE'S NO DOUBT THAT ZETHUS HAS TO BE POSSESSING HIM! HE HAS TO BE THE ONE!" Then the final note appeared. Shez and Kirby smiled at each other and got so excited, they finally figured out who was attempting to bring Byleth down.

Kirby cheered, "WE FINALLY FIGURED OUT WHO IS RESPONSIBLE!! GO US!!" Shez nodded as he picked up the last note. "What does this last note say?"

Shez replied, "It looks like... instructions of how to get rid of Zethus' soul out from Byleth's body..."
