Wedding Bell Joy ~ Chapter 10

"Oh gods, this day is going to be a mess!!" Chrom yelled as he dashed around the hallways of the castle. All of the Ylissean family members were there with Chrom. Claude was busy doing some things with the Golden Deer house and a couple of allies from Leceister and Almyra.

Lucina laughed, "Father! Father!" Chrom looked down as Lucina held a bouquet of flowers in her hands. Chrom smiled as he got down to her level. "I'm going to be a great flower girl am I?"

"Of course you will, sweetie! You're going to be more than amazing!" Chrom laughed. Lucina looked at her father who was dressed in a white suit. Lucina had a bright smile across her face.

Lucina giggled, "Father, I suppose you're the bride of this wedding?"

"I guess you can say that..." Chrom laughed. He got up and looked in the mirror. Lucina joined him as they looked at the mirror together. "I look perfect right?"

Lucina replied, "Claude doesn't care about your looks right? Then I suppose you're perfect!" Chrom looked at Lucina and smiled.

"Thank you for those words sweetheart, I've been so nervous I haven't really been thinking straight about myself. So conflicted at looking the best I can. I cannot wait for the wedding and I know it's going to be just perfect," Chrom replied as he looked out the window. The birds were chirping, the soft breeze was moving. Chrom was in awe with how perfect the weather was.

Lucina laughed, "Father! We really picked a good day since look how pretty outside looks! The orange, yellow, red trees really make it so pretty!"

"You're correct about that, it really is beautiful," Chrom sighed. Then he checked the time on his watch. Morgan came dashing down the stairs and joined Chrom. He was dressed in a nice fancy outfit that went well. "Chase is going to be taking me down the aisle during the processional. I'm so nervous..."

Morgan laughed, "I'm all set papa! Are we going soon?"

"We're going right now, I think the wedding will be beginning soon and besides, you guys need to be there first before me," Chrom laughed. The children nodded as they eagerly went outside. Chrom walked with them slowly embracing the wonderful aroma around them.

Lucina cheered, "THE SETTING IS SO PRETTY FATHER!" Chrom nodded as they continued walking down. Chrom felt his cheeks warming up, and was nervous. The big day was starting soon and he was so afraid of what was going to be. The flower girl and the ring bearer were his children. He was just far too afraid of what was going to happen.

Chrom sighed, "I can't wait for Claude to be my husband... he means the world to me and I can't let that go... not at all." They continued walking down the pathway as Chrom tried to avoid being noticed by the townsfolk. Who were all far too excited about the wedding of the Exalt.

Morgan giggled, "You picked a really good day dad!"

"I did indeed, it's just too perfect of a day, this day really is going to be perfect," Chrom laughed as they continued walking. Finally they made it to the cathedral. Chrom went to his designated area where he met up with Chase.

Chase gasped, "Chrom! You really outdone yourself for this wedding! Who made your outfit?! It's really good!"

"Byleth made it for me, it's soft, comfortable and overall makes me feel very happy. I just... I feel so glad I asked Byleth to design my outfit for me," Chrom explained as he looked down at his outfit. All clean and perfect, just as he loved it and wanted it to be.

Chase said, "Your kids are gonna have some big roles to play. Lucina's excited, is she not?"

"Of course she's excited! This is like a dream come true to her!" Chrom replied while laughing. Chase sighed as they got themselves ready. Chrom and Chase talked with one another for a bit before... The events were finally beginning.
