"Oh my beloved Team hero..." Someone echoed. Shez looked over as he spotted Byleth standing there alone. None of the villains were alongside him. However, he appeared to be wearing a belt with syringes.

Shez asked, "Tell me right now. What did you do to Alcryst!?" Byleth smiled as Alcryst came dashing over. He was induced with despair and ready to attack Shez and Kirby.

Kirby murmured, "I honestly thought he would've killed him considering how much he calls him a villain." Shez nodded as Byleth looked at them with a smile. He looked prepared to hurt them.

Byleth laughed, "I know what you're thinking, how come I didn't kill Alcryst? The answer is very simple... I need more pawns in my scheme. I will make sure you will give back those scrolls and corrupt the REST OF YOU!"

"The rest of you!?"

"I induced the entire team, at any second I can just use them against you; just like I'm doing with Alcryst," Shez took a deep breath and took out his swords. "Get them."

Alcryst shouted, "TAKE THIS!" He started shooting as many arrows as he could. Shez and Kirby dodged them the best they could but they were unable to. Meanwhile, Byleth had ordered the villains to raid the mansion. To find the location of the scrolls.

"WE CAN WORK THIS OUT ALCRYST! STOP!!" Shez ordered. However, he didn't stop. He grew more furious by the second, unable to kill Shez and Kirby. Soon he launched himself up into the air and shot an arrow down directly on Shez.

Kirby shouted, "SHEZ!" Shez fell down and looked down at himself. He took out the arrow from his arm and took a deep breath to ease the pain. Soon Alcryst shot an arrow directly at his forehead. Shez attempted to take it out as Alcryst launched himself at Shez.

Kirby dashed over and went to grab Alcryst off but nothing worked. Alcryst was far stronger at gripping Shez. Shez fought back but soon Alcryst pulled the arrow out and dragged it across Shez's face. Leaving a mark on his face.

"GODS!"

"OFF!!" Kirby slammed his sword on Alcryst as he fell backward. Kirby noticed a syringe on the ground and knew he had to act quickly. He grabbed it and tried to see what was in it. Alcryst shot an arrow directly at him as Kirby fell down.

Shez grunted, "He's... so skilled that I am unable to do anything..."

"That's life for you, you're all nothing but imbeciles," Alcryst sighed. Shez looked at the swirls in Alcryst's eyes and looked at his swords. "NOPE!" Alcryst shot an arrow directly into Shez's eye. He fell down and felt the agonizing pain in his eye.

Kirby got in front of Shez and was ready to protect him. Alcryst looked at him and smiled. He threw a smoke bomb at them and soon dashed in to grab Shez. He grabbed Shez and took out a dagger. "W-What are you doing!?"

Alcryst laughed, "Just following orders is all. Nothing too bad compared to how useless you are..." Shez stared at Alcryst as he stabbed his dagger directly into Shez.

"GAH!"

"HOLD- STILL!" Kirby jumped up and ran over to assist Shez. Shez looked over as Alcryst then dragged the dagger down Shez's face. Kirby then managed to pull Alcryst off him and slammed his blade against his face. The two fell down as Shez looked down at him, there was a huge cut on his face.

Kirby ordered, "ALCRYST THIS IS SO UNLIKE YOU! I KNOW YOU KNOW A WAY TO BREAK OUT OF THIS MINDSET!" Alcryst shook his head as he glared at the heroes. There was a cut directly across his face but he didn't care.

Alcryst laughed, "You and I both know I'm simply following orders. None of this will compare. You are all nothing..." Kirby looked at Alcryst and then found a way to change the substance. However, Alcryst continued shooting arrows. Kirby was the one being targeted instead of Shez.

"GAH!" Kirby yelled. He fell backward and looked over as Alcryst got prepared to give him a cut. Right as he was about to do that Kirby stabbed him directly in the arm. Alcryst soon passed out due to the syringe stabbing him.

Shez asked, "Did... Did you do it?" Kirby slowly nodded as he looked over. There was no sign of Byleth nor any of the villains. They were terrified but afraid to leave Alcryst alone. So as Kirby went to check Shez made sure Alcryst would wake up alright.

There was nothing for the moment. Alcryst was still unconscious but he was thankfully still breathing. Yet Shez still felt afraid, why did Alcryst get so vicious? What exactly is in that substance and what did they do to everyone else?

"Shez...?"

Shez looked down and saw Alcryst slowly opening his eyes. He was back to normal thankfully but he seemed so disoriented. "I thought I was in Almyra?"

Shez explained, "You were but it appears that Byleth did something to you. But you're back with us, don't you worry about it." Alcryst nodded as he slowly got up. He looked down at himself and took a deep breath.

"I'm truly pathetic aren't I?"

"Nonsense, you're perfect just the way you are," Shez said with a smile. Alcryst stared at him and then smiled back slightly. He just didn't know what else to say. He was still just disoriented.

Alcryst apologized, "I'm... sorry. So so SO, sorry for everything I have done! I know you will never forgive me and I understand your reasoning completely-"

"Alcryst! It's okay!"

"You... you think so?"

"Yes... right now we need to make sure they don't get the scrolls," Alcryst nodded as the two dashed away from the scene to the mansion.
