Disoriented Flash of Memories ~ Chapter 148

"AHAHAHA!" Rafal laughed as he jumped down from the balcony. The heroes looked around and noticed they were all immediately surrounded by the corrupted heroes. The heroes looked at each other and nodded. They jumped out of the way as Corrupted Albedo and Eula attempted to attack them.

Celica shouted, "TAKE THIS!" She casted a spell against the two corrupted heroes and they jumped backward. The heroes gathered together as Corrupted Link and Agent 4 dashed at them. Veyle jumped ahead and pulled out her dagger. Together, both Shez and her attacked the two.

"There's far too many heroes to deal with! We'll never be able to make it out of here in time!" Kirby said while defending himself. Shez looked around the room and saw Corrupted Kazuha dashing at him. He dashed at Kazuha and the two clashed blades with each other before Shez was shoved onto the ground by Corrupted Marianne.

Shez grunted, "We have to eliminate all the heroes in order to get into the room where Alcryst and Zethus are fighting! We can't afford to lose here!" The heroes nodded as Celica jumped into the middle and performed a huge ragnarok spell around the area. The corrupted heroes were blasted away and all of them slammed into different parts of the castle.

Celica sighed, "We have to try to take them down one by one. Otherwise, they will overwhelm us... Shez can you do that for me?"

"Of course, if that means saving our friends and our planet from doom, I'll do anything," Shez replied. Celica nodded as the rest of the heroes got into positions to defend themselves. Rafal smiled down at the heroes and looked at his axe.

Rafal sighed, "I can't wait to see you all lose here, and then... we'll see the world fall into nothingness."

"Rafal! You wanted to fight against Zethus! Why don't you assist us here?!" Kirby shouted. Rafal looked down at the heroes and rolled his eyes.

Rafal explained, "I don't need to work with you heroes, I am working with Zethus... and if I fail him I'll never forgive myself."

"Please!" Kirby yelled. Rafal shook his head as he jumped onto the ledge of the top of the balcony. Then he jumped down, slamming his axe into the ground. The heroes jumped back as the corrupted heroes got prepared to attack them.

Shez suggested, "Perhaps we can free Marianne from Zethus' corruption. Just so we have one more person to take care of us in case we are seriously injured."

"Good idea, but how are we supposed to get to her?" Celica asked. Shez looked over at her as she got ready to cast a spell. Shez jumped up into the air and slammed his swords against Marianne. Rafal saw what went down and dashed over to attack Shez.

However, Gooey and Kirby jumped into action and stopped Rafal in his tracks. Celica dashed over to where Shez was and looked down at Marianne. She seemed to be there but the corruption was overwhelming her. The two stared at each other as Celica got herself prepared to perform the revert spell. Rafal was trying his hardest to fight back against Kirby and Gooey but eventually he was shoved onto the ground.

Rafal shouted, "YOU WRETCHED HEROES!! I'LL SHOW YOU WHO TO TRULY NEVER MESS AROUND WITH!" Then he took out a dragonstone and transformed. The heroes looked over as Rafal attempted to attack Celica. Luckily, Veyle managed to attack him with a spell in order to bait him.

Elfilin asked, "Is this spell going to work?"

"I'm doing my hardest, I wish I knew the exact answer to your question, Elfilin..." Celica sighed. Shez looked down as Celica was able to successfully remove the spell from Marianne. "It worked!"

Marianne asked, "W-What... happened?"

"No time to explain, we have to get rid of the corrupted versions of our allies!" Shez yelled. Marianne looked at him and nodded as Corrupted Sonic and Agent 4 dashed over to them. Agent 4 shot ink as Sonic attempted to spin-dash at them. However, they were barely able to dodge the attack.
