TEAR AND SHREDS ~ Chapter 14

"WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON HERE!?" Rowan asked as they fixed their sunglasses. Then a figure appeared in the distance. None other than to be Byleth himself. "E-Eisner!?"

Byleth muttered, "I had enough of your selfish intendices. You're always trying to show you're the best when in reality you can't go five seconds without trying to steal some spotlight. You think this is a game don't you!?"

"What do you want from me anyways?! You are jealous of me for coming up with far more intelligent ideas right!?" Rowan laughed. Byleth stared at them and took out a dagger. "W-What's the dagger for!? Is it a new fashion line!?"

Byleth muttered, "Take a wild guess what it is for..." Byleth felt the rage inside him growing stronger each time he stared at Rowan. He wanted to rip them, he wanted to tear them apart, he wanted them GONE.

Rowan asked, "You're not going to go out of your way to murder me because I took away your idea right!?" Byleth stood there staring them down, he was unbelievably pissed off. He wanted them to be eliminated as soon as possible.

"You..."

"LISTEN! LISTEN! I DIDN'T THINK I WOULD MAKE IT SO MAINSTREAM BUT APPARENTLY I DID! NOW I CAN'T UNDO IT!"

"YOU SHOULD KNOW BETTER THAN TO DO THIS!"

Rowan cried, "PLEASEEE!!! DON'T KILL ME!!" Byleth stood there staring at them. He was just done, he was tired of being pushed around like an object. Tired of people taking the spotlight, tired... of Rowan.

"You think I'm going to let someone like you have mercy!?" Byleth asked while he threw the dagger barely past Rowan. Rowan stood there shaking, staring at Byleth. They were afraid, they had nothing against Byleth. Not only was he strong, he was intelligent, and can predict the future. There was no escape, none.

Rowan gasped, "Please!!" Byleth stared at him with a blank expression. Soon he took out the sublime creator sword. "WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME!?!"

"YOU... WILL DIE HERE!!!" Byleth shouted as he swung his sword. Rowan was able to barely dodge it and dashed out of the alleyway. Byleth quickly followed after. Byleth kept swinging his sword chasing Rowan but nothing was working.

Rowan thought, "Never thought I'd see the day I'll be hunted down by one of the heroes?! What is going on with Byleth!?" Byleth soon was able to wrap his sword around Rowan as rage filled him more and more. "AHHH!! LET ME GO!!"

Byleth groaned, "Letting go of someone like you? Not a chance at all..." Rowan was shaking, they have never felt so afraid in their life. Byleth was known as the Ashen Demon, he was dangerous. He was a dangerous lifeform, and he always had an upper hand against everyone...

"NO!!"

"YOU RUINED EVERYTHING! WHY DO YOU HAVE RIGHTS-" Suddenly Byleth heard footsteps. He unwrapped Rowan and hid the anger he had. Kirby and Shez dashed over and then saw Byleth taking a few deep breaths.

Shez asked, "Byleth what is going on!?"

"I...I'm sorry..." Byleth cried. Rowan looked at the three and stood up. "I just got so mad and I don't know! I ran off! I then got a little angry and harmed Rowan."

Rowan shouted, "YOU TRIED TO KILL ME!"

"I DIDN'T!"

"YES YOU DID-"

"Byleth is right, I'm not going to believe someone who decided to steal someone's hard work for their benefit," Shez replied as he hugged Byleth. Rowan stood there in disbelief as Kirby hugged Byleth. Byleth looked toward Rowan and gave him a glare before hugging his two allies.

Rowan muttered, "You're... believing him?"

Byleth sighed, "You took my future fashion line and you're constantly trying to ruin my future. I think it's very clear why they believe me."

"YOU..."

"I didn't try anything..." Byleth sighed as he smiled at Rowan. Rowan stood there staring in disbelief. Byleth took a deep breath and smirked evilly at them.

Rowan asked, "What... is wrong with you!?"

"Nothing... there's something wrong with you..." Byleth mocked as he walked off. Shez and Kirby looked at one another in confusion but soon followed Byleth. Rowan looked in the distance and back at their fashion line. Rowan then came to the realization that he was doing more damage than good.

Rowan muttered, "I really messed up... I didn't know what got into me. Mainstream out of nowhere, I should really consider how others feel. I almost got killed because of it, gods I can be so... idiotic."
