Byleth stopped running and paused for a moment, he was now located in Mobius. However, he kept his cover before anyone else noticed him. He fell onto the ground and breathed heavily.

"Gods... I..." Byleth felt his head aching with pain the more he thought about anything. More and more pain was coming to him, he couldn't control it in any shape or form. "This... headache is killing me!" Byleth then paused and remembered everything from his childhood.

"Hey Byleth! How is the least favorite twin doing?" Beth asked as she kicked Byleth. Byleth stood there staring at her not making a word. "You do realize you talk less than I do, right?"

Byleth muttered, "I just... don't want to."

"Don't want to!? Are you crazy!? You have so much intelligence yet you refuse to use it?" Beth asked. Byleth stood there in silence staring down at himself. "BYLETH GET A GRIP-"

Suddenly Jeralt walked in and ordered, "Beth will you knock it off? Your brother doesn't want to discuss this to you nor does he want you insulting him twenty-four seven."

"Sorry... it's just he's so quiet, he never says anything or thinks much of anything,"

"Just leave him be, he's a great mercenary and I enjoy how he isn't rambling about something random like you are sometimes," Beth stood there in shock and turned to Byleth who was already walking away.

Beth groaned, "UGH! YOU COME BACK HERE RIGHT NOW!"

Byleth rose his head from facing the ground and searched around him. He felt afraid and more afraid than ever before. He got praise from his father every now and then but Beth was basically fishing for praise. He fell onto the ground and rolled over to face the sky.

He didn't know what to think, what to do or what to tell. He was just afraid of messing up again and never being able to speak. That's why he was so quiet when he was younger. Afraid of speaking the wrong things, afraid of messing up. He thought perfection was all he needed to pass in the world.

Until he met Chrom during the days he lived in Smash Central. The two became friends over time and grew close to each other. Byleth became more open to Chrom the closer they were. He thought that Chrom was the most amazing person to ever exist.

Byleth continued staring up into the sky, trying to shield himself from the sun. He felt like he no longer knew who he was, was he an ally of the team or a traitor? He felt the urge to cry, so he did. Crying on the floor trying not to make a sound...

"BYLETH YOU DUMB BITCH THIS IS WHY FATHER DIED!" Beth screamed as she shoved Byleth against the wall. Byleth fell backward and looked at her. "You're always so... QUIET WITH EVERYONE! HOW DID YOU EVEN BECOME A TEACHER!?"

Byleth replied, "I only became a teacher because they forced me to be one! I talk to my students often! You're just jealous I do so much better than you do!"

"YOU'RE CRAZY! I AM NOT JEALOUS OF A LOSER LIKE YOU!!" Soon Beth stormed out of the room. Byleth slid onto the ground and put his head into his knees. Each day he spent with the students, the better he felt about expressing how he felt.

Yet he had no idea how to express it better, always trying to keep a strong face even when things are tough. Beth was always a lot more expressive yet, he couldn't get himself to do much. He was afraid of everything surrounding him.

Byleth muttered, "Beth is my twin sister... Yet she is a pain in the ass. I just want to understand why I'm so torn with myself. Sometimes, I don't even know if I know myself personally." Byleth fell onto the ground again and looked down at himself. "What have I become?"

Just as he closed his eyes, the negative energy started swirling around inside Byleth. It was messing with him more and more. Byleth felt himself altering but he couldn't control it. He had no way of knowing how to, the negative energy only got stronger the more anger he felt.

Byleth grunted, "I... I..." Then he grabbed onto the grass as the negative energy consumed him whole again. He took a deep breath and slowly got up from the ground. He took out the scroll and looked through it. By looking at the scroll that only strengthened the energy. "Nobody will be able to defeat what I consider true perfection. They're all afraid of me and it shows...

I will also take down my 'friends.' They're nothing more than tools into my schemes. I already killed Mario, I'll go ahead and kill them as well! NOW NOBODY WILL BE ABLE TO STOP ME!! AHAHAH!! AHAHAH!!"
