"Lissa! What do you need me for?" Claude asked as he stood by a wall with the phone on his ear.
Lissa explained, "Hey Claude! Hope all is well with you and the heroes. The kids really want to talk to you and so I'm going to hand them the phone."
"Oh! Alrighty then," Claude said. Then he waited for a bit as he heard the little voice of Morgan.
Morgan asked, "Step-Daddy? Is that you?"
"Yes it is Morgan! What do you kiddos need at the moment?" Claude laughed.
Lucina explained, "Um... Morgan and I were wondering when you and Father were going to come home. We miss you guys a lot and... we were really scared that you weren't going to answer the phone. Morgan is very scared especially..."
"Oh... Lucina..." Claude said while his voice drifted off.
Morgan said while nearly crying, "I miss you and daddy so much! I want you guys to come home now! Please!!"
"Oh don't worry I'll be coming home! Your biological father will be coming home soon, he's just a lot busier than I am!" Claude said while trying to comfort Morgan and Lucina through the phone.
Lucina asked, "Are you sure? Can you make sure to pick up father once he's done?"
"I will, I promise you," Claude sighed.
Morgan asked, "And... you are coming home alone right?"
"Yes Morgan," Claude reassured.
Lucina said with a cheerful voice, "We'll see you soon step-father! I hope father is doing okay!" Then the two handed the phone back to Lissa.
"So, what's going on right now?" Lissa asked.
Claude explained, "The heroes found a way to open the portal to the Netherworld as it was sealed off thanks to Zethus. Unfortunately, he has taken the heroes including Chrom. I wanted to go rescue him but the kids badly wanted to see one of us and I'm the only one not under his influence."
"Yeah... we'll see you soon Claude. I'm praying that the heroes know what they're doing and that they find a way to save Chrom! I miss my elder brother dearly," Lissa sighed. Claude nodded as he looked down at himself.
Claude sighed, "I'll see you very soon Lissa. Tell the kids I'll be home soon."
"Right! See you soon Claude!" Lissa said with a smile. Claude nodded as the two hung up. Claude held on his phone and looked down at himself.
Claude whispered, "Chrom... when the heroes save you from Zethus' corruption. We'll be reunited again and we will spend our time happily together, I know we will." Claude got up and walked over to the heroes.
"Hey Claude! How are you?" Shez asked with a smile. Claude looked at the heroes and then looked down at himself. "You look sorrowful, did something happen at home?" Claude looked up at the heroes and smiled.
Claude explained, "Nothing bad happened, just the kids want one of their parents home since they're super scared at the moment. I'm the only one available and Chrom is taken by Zethus. So I lied to them saying he was busy so you guys can rescue him. I need to head back home though."
"Alright, are you going to take the wyverns with you?" Shez asked.
Claude replied, "Yes I am, you heroes let me know when you're all back to normal or you can all travel together back to the town. But just saying that the wyverns will be unavailable."
"That's okay! Thank you for all your help Claude, it means a lot to us that you were willing to help us during these tough times," Celica said while holding Claude's hands. Claude smiled as the heroes all went over and hugged him.
Alcryst sighed, "Safe travels Claude."
"Thank you, good luck everyone and free Byleth from Zethus' command, I believe in you all," Claude said with a smile. The heroes nodded as Claude went to his wyverns and got up on one of them. Then he flew off with the rest of the wyverns.
The heroes all stood there waving at him as he soared away in the skies. Then they all turned toward the portal. Shez looked around and at everyone and then down at the portal. "Are you sure all of us are prepared to jump into that?" The heroes looked at Shez and nodded as each of them held hands with each other.
Kirby said, "Let's get going and save Byleth from Zethus' command. Afterward, we can respect Mario and then have a celebration afterwards, the Fire Dawn celebration is very... very close."
"Yes, we'll be all together again and Zethus will be gone for good!" Celica said with a smile. The heroes looked at each other and then one by one they all jumped into the portal. They landed on the platform they arrived at the first time they all came here.
Kirby sighed, "Here we are once again... I can't believe we have to come back here just to make sure Zethus is defeated... we're so close to completing this mission..."
"I never knew how much I missed the heroes and Byleth. It just doesn't feel right without the rest of the heroes, we just feel so... empty," Celica sighed.
Shez agreed, "Yeah, and I'll have to tell them about the entire situation unfolding and why I recruited so many people. But they will be accepting. I just know it, and the heroes will love each and every one of you." The new heroes smiled as Kirby and Shez smiled back at them.
"Are we all ready to go?" Celica asked. The heroes looked up ahead and didn't say much. They walked ahead when suddenly they heard a roar in the distance.
Kirby asked, "W-What was that?!"
"That was the sound of..."
