New Partnership and Sounds of Heroes ~ Chapter 54

"ALL OF YOU STOP IMMEDIATELY!" The villains looked over to see Zhongli and Eula standing at the door. Byleth became furious and walked over to the heroes swinging his sword around.

Byleth laughed, "Did you think I would leave without a fight?"

Zhongli sighed, "No, not at all. We know you don't even try leaving unless we fight you."

"Aww, how's the Exalt of Ylisse doing? Is he dead already?"

"No, he's doing just fine..."

"How pathetic, I was hoping he passed away or something," Rafal mocked. The two became enraged and attacked the two. However, Rafal and Byleth easily dodged and slammed their weapons on the two.

Eula grunted, "They're quicker! What the hell happened while they were coming here?"

"Probably because Byleth is still boosted from the book and the scroll. He won't be unboosted unless we get rid of those two from him!" Zhongli explained.

Byleth sighed, "Not a chance, I won't let you get the scroll and the book from my hands. Those two belong to me and I will make sure you two never get your hands on them..." Eula and Zhongli worked together and attacked Rafal, who fell backward.

Marth asked, "Do you want assistance?!"

"I can handle myself! You guys keep searching!" Byleth shouted. The villains nodded as they continued. Zhongli and Eula used all their strength to attack Byleth but soon Rafal got up and got in between the two and broke their double attack.

Eula said, "Those two are a lot more powerful together... something tells me they had an experience..."

"That's because we did, in fact we became friends with one another! That's why our partners work fantastically without any problems..." Rafal laughed. Byleth smiled as the two dashed in to attack Zhongli and Eula again.

Eula shouted, "ZHONGLI MOVE!" Eula got in the way and blocked the two from attacking her. However, they were able to overcome Eula and pin her to the ground.

"You keep Eula pinned, I'll deal with Zhongli," Byleth explained. Rafal nodded as Zhongli prepared to fend for himself. Suddenly Meta Knight moved over and kicked Zhongli onto the ground. Byleth smiled and pushed him directly to the ground.

Byleth sighed, "How pathetic can you be to actually manage to do so poorly in trying to defeat me? In fact I have the perfect thing to use against you two..."

"What exactly do you have planned to use against us!? You are nothing more than an insane person! You have no idea what you're doing and what you're getting into!" Eula shouted. Rafal closed her mouth shut and she was unable to talk.

Marth announced, "Byleth, we managed to get our hands on the two scrolls here in Liyue."

"Great work, you two head outside while I deal with these two," Byleth ordered. The villains nodded as they dashed outside the building. Byleth looked down at Zhongli and smiled.

Zhongli grunted, "Whatever you're planning to do... it will never work..."

"You're dead wrong because I'm using the power of the book! This book is so strong that you won't be able to stand a chance against me..." Byleth laughed. Then he got himself prepared.

Rafal mocked, "It's saddening how it all had to come to this. Unfortunately it's just how life is. You will be all better people now..."

"What?! Are you crazy!?"

"We are crazy! That doesn't even matter now does it? If we're crazy that means you guys will be able to handle this with ease..."

"What are you talking about?!" Eula asked. Suddenly, a dark orb came out from the book. Byleth smiled at the two as the two became more and more afraid of what was going on. "What... are you doing?"

Byleth laughed, "DOING WHAT I WAS SUPPOSED TO DO LONG AGO! I WAS SO STUPID FOR NOT ACTING SOONER BUT THIS WILL DO!!"

"Wh-What are you... AHHH!!!!!!!"
