Now rain was falling in parts of Dawn. Byleth found himself in Liyue where rain was falling down slowly. There was usually little sign of snow ever. The villains looked around the area as Byleth looked down at his phone.

"Looks like the scroll is found in a special library. Don't worry about it, I can break inside with no problem whatsoever," Byleth said. He put his phone away and walked inside the city. There was barely anyone outdoors. If someone was, they were usually found shopping for something.

Byleth looked around for the library and found it. He looked up at it and smiled, then he slowly opened the doors...

"Byleth..." Someone muttered. Byleth opened his eyes and saw Beth looking down at him. She appeared to have a smile on her face. "Go see yourself in the mirror!" Byleth got up slowly and walked to the mirror. To his surprise he was covered in sharpie and there was an egg on his head.

Byleth asked, "What did you do!? What did I even do to you for you to continuously harass me in every form!?"

"You're just pretty quiet and worthless. You never seem to have any good qualities to you other than being smart. Of course you won't get anywhere if you can't even tolerate this, it's all a joke!" Beth mocked. Byleth stared at himself and then back at Beth who ran out of the room.

Byleth muttered, "How can I ever be confident if you're constantly making fun of me? How can I even try?" Byleth cleaned the sharpie off his face and took a shower to get rid of the egg. Byleth felt himself being hopeless. He had the urge to run away and get away from his family. Get away from Beth moreso...

Yet he couldn't get himself to, he wanted to be with his father still. He was the only one there to really support him, even though they were mercenaries; always doing tasks and following orders. He wanted to disappear, he was a nobody. So intelligent but he was nothing.

Rafal shouted, "BYLETH YOU IDIOT OPEN THE DOOR!"

"STOP YELLING AT ME DAMN!" Byleth groaned.

Beth mocked, "He's always like this, just a sad useless man who doesn't know when is the right time to act-"

"Beth you are not helping us in this situation," Marth groaned. Byleth turned to the villains in anger. So much rain was falling down onto the ground. The villains stopped talking as Byleth glared at them.

Beth sighed, "Just saying you'll never be perfect nor will you be able to achieve your dreams. To be fair they all feel impossible." Byleth stared down at himself and then slammed his umbrella on Beth. "OW!!"

Byleth ordered, "Shut the fuck up before I actually find a way to kill you." Beth silenced herself as they all stood there waiting for Byleth to open the door. Yet Byleth couldn't get himself to open the door for some reason. Everytime Beth talked it irritated him more and more. He was sick of hearing his sister's voice all the time. Constantly reminded of how worthless he really was.

Rafal asked, "Do you want me to open the door for you?"

"If you... don't mind," Byleth hesitated from moving but he did. Rafal walked forward and opened the door. All there was inside the library was silence, there was barely anyone there. "Alright, let's all head to the restricted section, before anyone sees us..."

Rafal asked, "Do you know the names of the scrolls we're looking for here?"

"You'll know what they are once you see them," Byleth explained. The villains nodded as they walked into the room. They searched around the room and saw just how empty the whole place was. They walked closer to the restricted section. However, Byleth stood there standing by himself. While the villains searched, Rafal walked over to check on Byleth.

Rafal asked, "Are you sure you're doing alright? You seem to be so distraught and worried over what? Are you afraid the heroes are going to find you here?"

"No it's not just that... something about Beth has been bothering me so much. I just have no choice but to sacrifice her for the ritual. She means too little to me and always actively tries to make me feel worthless and pointless. I want to get rid of her..." Byleth explained.

Rafal questioned, "But she's your sister? How come you want to so badly kill her in every shape and form? I'm just curious."

"She always thinks that she's better than me, always trying to be the better sibling because she's so attention starved... she's the worst sister I could ever ask for," Byleth replied. He crossed his arms and faced away from Rafal.

Rafal sighed, "Now that you explain it, your reasoning for wanting to kill her is justified. Don't worry about it though, we will sacrifice her for the ritual. I believe it's one hundred percent deserved."

"I'm... I'm surprised you care so much about how I feel. I enjoy that about you Rafal," Byleth replied with a smile.

Rafal groaned, "Your kindness kills me. But it's fine, I'm only trying to understand how you feel. Alear... kinda taught me that."

"How funny, she used to be my best friend but... she's not working with me. I don't suppose you and I?" Byleth put his hand out. Rafal stood there staring but he smiled and took his hand.

Rafal sighed, "Fine. We can be friends..."
