Determined Causes And So ~ Chapter 110

"I hope you like dealing with undead corpses because I sure do! Now if you excuse me I'll be leaving for now..." Byleth giggled as he left the scene. The heroes raised their weapons and looked around toward the disposal.

Alear muttered, "They're just like the corrupted..."

"Just keep your guard up everyone! We can't let these undead beings get to us!" The others nodded as they cut down the disposal. They looked around to see if they could locate Byleth or Rafal but there was no sign of either of them.

Chrom ordered, "I'll be going on ahead to see if I can find Byleth!"

"I'm coming with you," Alear said. Chrom nodded as the two went on ahead. Meanwhile the rest of the heroes got themselves ready to defend against the disposal. Celica casted a spell that was able to remove the disposal but it wasn't much.

Shez grunted, "These undead beings can be so annoying..."

"They're not only annoying, but they're terrifying as well..." Alcryst muttered. Shez looked around and soon spotted Rafal dashing off. Shez ordered the team to start moving and they followed after Rafal.

Shez shouted, "WE HAVE YOU IN OUR HANDS RAFAL!"

"OH REALLY?! DO YOU WANT TO THINK AGAIN?!" Rafal shouted back. The heroes continued chasing him. Meanwhile Alear and Chrom were still searching for Byleth. He didn't appear to be anywhere nearby.

Alear groaned, "We're not going to find him!" Then they turned around and saw Byleth smiling, he appeared to have a trash bag in his hand. "Oh so there you are!"

Chrom asked, "What the hell is in that trash bag?!"

"Oh just Mario's corpse, nothing fancy or not..." Byleth giggled. The two looked at him in shock, they didn't know what to say. "What?"

Alear demanded, "LEAVE MARIO'S BODY ALONE BYLETH!!" Byleth smiled at her and got his sword out. The two put their weapons up in order to prepare to attack him.

"The disposal will deal with you two, I just need to use Mario's body in order to achieve my ultimate goal," Byleth explained. Chrom and Alear dashed at him together and they slammed their swords against him. Byleth fell back slightly and looked at them in anger.

Chrom ordered, "YOU DON'T NEED TO DO ANYTHING WITH HIS BODY!! GIVE HIM BACK!"

"How about a no? You guys seem to be so gullible at times, sometimes it's just laughable..." The two looked at Byleth in disbelief as he launched himself onto a building. The two followed after him, trying to not lose him.

Alear asked, "How do we get any closer to him?" Chrom looked around and then found a rope. He tied it onto something and the two climbed onto the building. Byleth continued running as the two chased after him.

Byleth thought, "A big mistake they're making... they don't know what they're getting themselves into..." He then landed on the ground and then dropped the trash bag. Chrom pinned Byleth on the ground as Alear dashed over to protect the trash bag.

Chrom ordered, "You aren't going anywhere... you are not leaving this place with Mario's body. I will not allow it in any form." Byleth looked at Chrom and smirked. He then blasted him away with a spell. Alear kept her guard up in order to prevent Byleth from getting closer to the bag.

Byleth laughed, "You two are just as idiotic as I remember you two being!" Chrom and Alear looked at each other and back at Byleth. "Chrom being the poor traumatized baby he is... and Alear just being nothing more but nonsense..."

Alear shouted, "YOU CAN'T BLAME CHROM FOR BECOMING THE WAY HE IS TODAY! HE WENT THROUGH SO MUCH COMPARED TO YOU!"

"I went through just as much as Chrom did! It's about time I took my REVENGE!!"

"WHAT ARE YOU-" Chrom looked at Byleth in horror as he was smiling, getting ready to cast a spell on him. Alear looked at Chrom and dashed over, but it was too late. He was hit with the spell and collapsed onto the ground. Byleth smiled as he turned over to Alear. Alear put her sword away and put her fists up.

Alear and Byleth stared at each other as Byleth got ready to cast another spell. "I don't like how this is going, Byleth! You need to LEAVE ME ALONE!!" Byleth ignored her request and dashed at her. Alear moved out of the way and punched Byleth in the stomach. He fell backward and clutched his stomach in pain.

"You're pretty good at fighting... but can you deal with THIS!?" He threw a spell at Alear and she barely dodged the spell. Byleth then dashed over and wrapped his sword around Alear's body. She fell onto the ground and attempted to break free.

Alear shouted, "I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU DID TO CHROM BUT YOU'RE NOT TOUCHING ME!! GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME YOU MONSTER!!" Byleth didn't say a word, he just smiled down at Alear. Soon tears formed in Alear's eyes.

Byleth asked, "Aww... are you sad because you still manage to lose after all this time? You're so pathetic..." He smiled down at Alear as Alear took a deep breath.

"Wherever you are, Byleth, I just want to tell you that all of us miss you so much... please... break free from whoever is possessing your body," Alear whispered.

Byleth laughed, "Alrighty now, it's time for you to say goodbye..." The spell got ready to cast as Alear stood there frozen in fear. Then...
