Manik's Pov

Nandini absorbed the news calmly, taking me by surprise. She held my eyes afterwards as she seemed to be rowing through a stream of memories. I watched eyes lashes draw apart and eyes widen in incredulity as she said, "I think I know of this old age home."

"You do?" She confirmed with a nod of head and strode to the bed to cover her body with the light bedsheet.

I would have loved her naked around me just like I was, but for a change, it was more appreciative that she covered herself or else I would have given in to my desires of taking her even if it is not the right time now. Making to Nandini should be the last thought in my mind as for now.

She returned with her phone and showed me several pictures she had taken with fragile old people on wheelchairs and bedrest, "When we were not talking after you returned home injured and I treated you with Jenna, she and I visited this old age home Raghav said was in severe need of doctors."

I studied each photo in her phone as they were quite many of them while Nandini continued, "Raghav said the place was run by an NGO his close friend owned and that he has promised to offer medical checkups and other timely medical assistance to the elders in the old home for free. He had to go on an important meeting on your order so he requested me and Jenna to visit there and conduct checkups."

"Tell me about the place and the caretakers there." I said, checking each photo with close scrutiny. "Did you notice anything different in there or anything about the caretakers you can share with me."

If the attack is conducted, I'll be unalive mentally because the residents in this old age home are awfully helpless. There is no one who can walk without canes or support as I can see behind Nandini in the background in her pictures. They All look so frail. So dependent.

"I don't know why but my instincts say the attack wouldn't occur unless there someone from the inside involved." I added, giving time to Nandini to think carefully of everything she could recall from her visit.

"Not much happened around us," She said. "It's just that the place is plain and stocked with the necessary stuff the elders would need. There are like seven caretakers. Four men and three women-- all in their thirties and they've all been so humble to the old ones like they were their own grand parents."

I caressed a picture in which Nandini was feeding a lady on the wheelchair. She looked like she was melting. Her skin was poorly wrinkled and her shrunken form told she was not going to live for long.

"That was Tilly," Nandini leaned into my left arm and adored the pic. Her semi-solid nipple brushed my skin, asking for my attention.

I resisted and kept my eyes intact on the screen of the phone, though my mind was filled with the thought of her nipple in my mouth.

"She passed away five hours after I took this picture." Nandini statement ripped me off my bad thoughts. Thank goddess.

I wrapped a hand around her and pulled her close. "You didn't tell me about the old age home's structure, Nandini."

Tilly's was the last picture in her phone. I set the phone aside and bought Nandini in front of me. She gladly sunk into my hold while I was still standing naked by the window.

"There's not much to tell, Manik. It's just a big hall lined with single beds, a common bathroom, a small cafeteria for dining facilities. Then there's a another big living room, comparatively small, serving as the library, relaxation and entertainment area."

"That's all you can remember?"

"That's all I can remember— wait, I think I remember something else too." As expected she recalled something and I had full faith that it was going to be of importance to me. "There is no security at all and the bolts on the home's door and gate broken. If you ask me, the old age home is in a very poor condition. When Jenna asked a caretaker about it, she said that they're hardly able to feed the elders and getting paid nothing for the jobs they're doing. So renovating will cost them a hand and leg if they are to consider it."
