Hi friends!
Sure has been a bit of a hot minute, and side views are in fact still the bane of my existence, but I'm back, and I finally can say I did a solo drawing of Hideki! I figured since I was showing Madoka a bunch of love that I should probably try to make it more equal, so there you go :D
As we know, he enjoys being outside in nature, and I imagine that one thing he'd particularly like to do is listen to the butterflies! Fun fact I originally was going to make this a full body piece, but then I couldn't for the life of me find a good base (don't judge me okay drawing dudes is hard for me XD). This one might not have been my first choice, but I still think it gives the right idea!
Also I did edit the expression and the facial structure a bit, so OH BOY WAS THAT AN ENDEAVOR. I lost count of how many times I redid it, but my ballpark is at least 7. I also had a bit of trial and error with his hair, but thankfully that was not nearly as much of a long process or I would've lost my marbles XD
At least his clothes were a one and done sort of deal, and once I got to coloring it was pretty smooth sailing from there!
Anyways, I shall end this off with a taisho secret!
He has an affinity toward all kinds of woodland animals—if he comes across one they tend to calm down around him! :)
