Hello hello again! So fun story, I had a bunch of bases saved, and I'm just kinda going through them and making drawings out of them. And I'm gonna be so honest, I just love drawing my girl Madoka- XD
Now, as said in her chapter and her first solo piece, Madoka holds nothing back when she fights demons, as she represses a lot of her resentment and hatred toward them in day to day life. However, while the last piece was kind of more of a standard snapshot of what she's like in a fight, I wanted this one to be her truly letting loose. I also imagined that her hair coming loose is also part of that, since her wearing it in braids is part of her polite persona.
And while we're on the topic of her hair, I had a lot of fun drawing it! I pictured it would be wavy/curly like this both naturally and from the braids (which is also something she used to get criticism from her parents about, parents of the year everybody-), and my vision definitely came to life here! Also, can I get a moment to appreciate how her facial expression came out because I'm not gonna lie I didn't think I was gonna be able to pull it off- if you're reading this, believe in yourself!
Now, as for the clothes and haori, I tried my best- XD I don't know why, I was just having a particularly hard time getting the haori to make sense—probably because her's is cropped at the waist while the one in the base was a lot longer, and I had to kinda adjust for that. Just do me a solid and don't look too closely at it, and we should be good to go XD
As for the dialogue, I kept going back and forth between whether or not to add it, but then I came up with that line while writing this chapter and I don't know, I thought it fit- I think it just completes the piece, honestly :D
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this drawing, and I'm sure glad that I'm not on the demon on the receiving end of this XD
