So one day I was just perusing the internet and I saw someone doing this thing with one of the ibis paint tools (basically like the lasso/select tool except with fill color—for the curious it's in the special brushes!) and I thought it would be fun if I tried it out! I ended up doing a bunch of my characters, but I thought that this one came out the best, so this is the one I decided to share!

Now, I still have some practice to do to get good at faces, and that part did take some trial and error, however I had a lot of fun with her hair and cloak! Drawing flowing fabric and ribbon bows is actually pretty fun this way, so honestly I might continue using this method for those things :3

I will say I did still use the sequin brush for the sparkles, solely because I didn't wanna have to do each one individually I'm gonna be so real, but overall this was a really fun experience—let me know if you wanna see some of my drafts! And of course, Kotori is probably one of my favorites to draw, so that helps too hehe- speaking of, wanna hear a taisho secret about her? Sure you do, so here goes!

She has a habit of humming or singing to herself when she does things, without being aware that she's doing it. Point this out, however, and she's been known to get pretty flustered!

Anyways, hope you enjoyed my little experiment! See ya!
