Hi friends!! I am finally out of finals hell, which means I can get back to doing the things I love!! And since I'm a New England girlie, we got the first snow of the year today! Naturally I had to commemorate the occasion by drawing my girl Miyuki :D
So fun fact I actually used a love live character pose as a base for this, specifically one from the Snow Halation set—as any love live fans know, Snow Halation is THE song of the winter (I actually learned the dance a year or so ago :3). I also made generous use of the glitter dot brush on ibis paint since I love the effect it has for drawing snow!
As for the song compilation I put above, first of all Miyuki's design was inspired by the character of snowdrop (which to those who don't know it's a fan made character from a fan animation), and second of all MLP was my childhood and I enjoy it to this day! And third of all, it has the perfect winter vibes and I did a choreography piece to part of it for my dance class one time and I just get the warm fuzzies whenever I hear it!!
So this kinda counts as both a story for the drawing and a taisho secret of sorts, but I imagine that whenever it snows, her favorite thing to do is go outside and catch the snowflakes! Luckily she has her cloak and tights to keep her warm :D
Anyways, that's all for now! It's a bit of a shorter chapter as I get back into the swing of things but I hope inspiration strikes again soon!
