Approaching 8 in the morning, Seher skillfully dressed both Meher and Liam. The duo donned stylish t-shirts and joggers, complemented by comfortable shoes. Their little backpacks were equipped with jackets for the cool evenings, two chocolates, packets of fruit snacks, and water bottles. The children, in their coordinated outfits, looked absolutely adorable - akin to young adventurers prepared for a day of excitement. Completing their look with baseball caps and charming Disney goggles, they embodied the spirit of two little hikers ready for an adventure.

Seher, as her routine dictated, captured numerous pictures of the adorable pair before tending to her own attire. Opting for comfortable cargo jeans and a t-shirt paired with suitable shoes, she acknowledged the challenging task ahead. While Daniel would be present, managing two energetic toddlers in a dynamic place like Disneyland required teamwork, even for two adults. Despite reminding herself that she was going as a mother and caretaker, not a mere visitor, her inner child couldn't suppress the excitement of experiencing the magic of castles, meeting beloved characters like Goofy, and encountering enchanting princesses.

Chuckling at her own thoughts, Seher recognized the shared anticipation between herself and her two-year-old daughter. With a content smile, she took hold of the children's hands and descended the stairs. Anticipating Daniel's readiness, they aimed to depart by 8, ensuring a timely arrival by ten.

As Seher descended the stairs, the air became charged with tension, the palpable strain of an argument unfolding between Amelia and Daniel. Amelia, seated on the couch, held her head in frustration, glaring at Daniel, whose voice, laden with anger, cut through the room.

"You made a promise to me. You can't simply twist things to suit your narrative and claim you're keeping your word. I'm not a child, not Liam. Don't treat me like a toddler," Daniel asserted, the intensity of his anger evident in every word. Seher, observing the scene, was taken aback by the unfamiliar sight of Daniel's fury.

Amelia's anger, initially evident in her expression, escalated into pure rage as she impulsively hurled an iPad across the room. The device crashed, creating a startling disruption that not only grabbed the attention of the adults and onlookers but also frightened the two children, who sought refuge by clinging to Seher's legs.

Amidst the chaos, Daniel, consumed by his own anger, seemed on the verge of retaliating against the thrown tablet. The room echoed with the soft whimpering of the frightened children, unheard by the quarreling duo engrossed in their heated exchange.

Amelia, in a voice resonating with rage, proclaimed, "I am fulfilling my promise, Daniel. I am sending those two to Disneyland. What the hell do you want from me?" Seher, caught off guard, had resigned herself to the belief that Daniel might not fulfill his promise. However, his recent determination had ignited a glimmer of hope, now threatened by the clash unfolding before her.

Just the mention of Disneyland from Amelia's lips triggered an emotional shift in Seher. A sense of foreboding settled in her bones, erasing the excitement and giddiness she had felt moments earlier. Her heart seemed to crack, not for her own dashed expectations but for her daughter, to whom she had pledged a world of joy just the night before.

Daniel's response, delivered in an equally loud and dangerous roar, cut through the air. "You don't hand me lollipops, Amelia. I've made it clear I'm not a child. Don't deflect. The deal was for Liam and me to go with them. I told you last night. Don't bring your lawyer tactics into this house. Amy, don't mess with me," he warned.

Amelia, meeting Daniel's intense gaze, retorted, "What the hell is wrong with you, Daniel? How dare you talk to me that way?" The room, now charged with conflicting emotions, hung in suspense as the clash between promises, anger, and unspoken grievances reached a critical juncture.
