10: First Mission Together

Normal P.O.V

“Are we sure we are not lost?” Gems asked as he and Gray were walking in the forest, trying to reach the Everlue Mansion and get a share of the prize money.

“We are on the right track, I guess.” Gray said, as they walked, hand in hand. Gray suggested holding hands since a forest is ‘dangerous’ place.

“Can't we just fly?” Gems complained.

“We can, but how many time do we get to hold hands?” Gray asked. Gems had flushed cheeks.

“Yeah...” Gems said. “But I'm tired... Can we eat something before we continue walking, we've been walking since morning?” Gems asked while looking at Gray with puppy dog eyes. Gray couldn't resist that, Gray can't even resist Gems's normal face.

“Good that I packed some lunch.” Gray said as he found a spot under a huge tree, with shade. They went there and helped each other set up a picnic blanket.

The food was set, some salad, some pasta and some cupcakes.

“Thank you for the food.” Gems said before grabbing his plate and attacking the food. Gray was impressed. “Gray say aaa~” Gems said as he brought his fork near Gray's mouth.

Gray's heart skipped a beat, his face turning pink. He opened his mouth as Gems said. Gems fed him the pasta. “It's so yummy, isn't it?” Gems said. Having food really changed his mood from whiny to happy. 

“Very yummy.” said Gray, he was flabbergasted. “My turn, say aaa-” Gray said as he fed Gems. Gems has a wide smile on his face.

They ate and fed each other while eating, this turned out to be their own mini date and completely forgot about their mission, they even fought for the last piece, which Gray let Gems have in the end, but Gems shared nevertheless.

Gems noticed that Gray had some sauce stuck on the sides of his lips.

“Gray...” Gems crawled towards Gray, making the older male red again. He went closer and closer. Gray got closer to kiss him, Gray thought Gems was about to kiss him, but instead he licked the sauce off Gray's sides.

“That was hot.” Gray responded.

“You find anything I do, hot, please.” Gems said.

“Just one kiss?” Gray asked with puppy dog eyes of his own. Gems immediately pecked him, and kissed him. Gray kissed back. They could feel their passion, as they both laid down while kissing, with Gray getting on top.

“If we weren't on a mission, I'd be inside you by now.” Gray said as he broke the kiss.

“In the open?” Gems asked.

“Like wild animals.” Gray answered, Gems giggled and couldn't control himself as he stole another kiss from Gray.

“We are so cheesy.” Gems laughed as they got up.

“Now I can't really wait to get back home.” Gray said as he helped Gems pack the stuff up.  They were back on the track until Gray suddenly stopped when he sensed someone.

“What is it Gray?” Gems asked.

“Someone's here... Get behind me.” Gray said in a cautious tone as he felt a lot of magical energy, it was familiar and he knew who it was. He grabbed Gems's hand and ran towards it, and jumped into the bushes.

It was Natsu, Lucy, Happy and Laki.

They all gasped together when they saw Gray and Natsu engaging in a brawl.
