21: Gems's Emotions

Normal P.O.V

“Hello!? Open up! We need your medical assistance!” Bisca yelled from outside.

Alzack, Bisca and Gems were given the duty of taking master Makarov to Porlyusica, to get him treated. She lived in a tree house in Magnolio's East Forest. She was the guild's healer.

“We need help!” Alzack yelled.

“Go away!” Porlyusica yelled from inside.

“Why is she not opening the door?” Gems asked while frowning, the master's condition was getting worse every passing second.

“You people stink!” she yelled again, Alzack and Bisca sighed.

“She's always like that, it's really hard to get any kind of treatment from her.” Bisca said.

“Let me give it a try.” Gems said as he walked up the stairs and banged on her door. “Miss Porlyusica, the master's really injured, we really need your help, it would be nice if you can coordinate during this tough time.” Gems politely.

“I said go away!” She yelled again, more angrily this time.

“And I said we need your help!” Gems argued with the old lady. “Seriously what kind of a healer are you? Refusing to heal someone in need. Its giving phoney!” Gems added getting frustrated.

Alzack and Bisca gasped at how direct Gems was.

Porlyusica immediately opened the door and swung her broom right at Gems. But Gems blocked it and held the broom.

“We are not leaving this place until you agree to heal Gramps!” Gems said as he looked into Porlyusica's eyes. “And if anything happens to him, you're to be the one to blame.” he added with a firm tone.

Porlyusica was speechless, no one had ever dared to talk to her like that or threaten her like that before.

“If my healing magic was strong enough, we never would've brought him here.” Gems added.

Porlyusica's expressions softened as she lowered the broom and retracted it back. Porlyusica took a deep breathe. She took a deep breathe and took a step backwards, mentioning the wizards to bring Makarov in.

Gems turned around with a huge smile and showed two thumbs up to both Alzack and Bisca. The duo was surprised that he was able to do that.

They quickly got Makarov and in and laid him on bed, in her treatment room.

“Are you a healer too?” Porlyusica asked Gems as she was making a potion to treat Makarov.

“I actually use wind magic and there's a spell I use which can treat people's physical injuries.” Gems replied, they were all sitting on the sofa besides. “I am not very skilled at using that, because it actually drains me of my energy when I heal someone.” Gems explained.

“Enchanted Wind Magic?” Porlyusica asked.

“Y-yes!” Gems replied getting shocked. “How did you know?” he asked.

“Your healing didn't work on this old man, because a forbidden wind spell named ‘Drain’ was used on him. It is forbidden because it drains all the power from the wizard. It will take some time to heal him.” Porlyusica explained.

“Is there any way that I could possibly heal without getting exhausted or any way that I could heal myself?” Gems asked, he thought Porlyusica might know the answer to that.

“You're still here!?” Porlyusica just yelled at them.

“I thought you were talking to us!?” Gems and the others gasped in shock.
