Gems's P.O.VI could hear the sounds of the battle coming from outside. I sighed as I looked at Gray. He had so many injuries. I was upset and angry at the same.
“Why'd you do that!?” I said looking at him, he was unconscious. “You shouldn't have pushed me away!” I yelled. I wiped a tear that escaped my eye, looking Gray like that was making me uncomfortable.
“Had we worked together like before, maybe just maybe, we would have beaten that bastard without you getting injured.” I said as I sat besides him.
“We are having a talk after I heal you.” I said to him, not caring whether he was listening or not.
I unbuttoned his shirt and removed his pants and gasped when I saw all those bruises on his body. He had bruises on his arms, elbows, shoulder, torso and his knees.
“Gray...” I mumbled as I covered my mouth with my palm trying not to cry just by looking at it. It was visible he had internal injuries too, some skin started to have blue patches on it.
I didn't have time to cry over those injuries knowing that I could heal them. I swallowed a lump in my throat and touched Gray's cheek.
“I'll heal you...you'll be fine...don't worry...” I mumbled trying to gather some strength and stay strong for Gray.
I grabbed Gray's palm and held it with both my hands. He was breathing so slow, and it was making me worried. I brought it closer to my face and pecked his knuckles.
“Healing Winds!” A lavender magic circle appeared beneath me as soothing winds started to flow around us. I closed my eyes and focused my energy on Gray.
I could feel my own energy leaving my body, as I was getting low on my strength every passing second. After the battle with Lyon, even I didn't have much energy left in me.
But we don't really have any other healer around, it's my responsibility to heal, especially Gray. I looked at him and his scars and bruises were slowly starting to heal, very slow due to my lack of energy.
“Come on Gems...” I mumbled to myself, as I tried my best to focus and heal Gray.
I opened my eyes when my spell was stopped mid way, I couldn't feel any magic left inside me. “Please not now...” I mumbled as I started to water by looking at Gray.
He still needed a lot of healing.
“Please please please not now, not now, not now!” I cried as I looked down with Gray's hand still in mine. I could see my tears dropping on Gray's chest.
I have to save him, no matter what.
I wiped my tears and got up, looking for a first aid kid, I knew Gray always carried one. I immediately opened our backpack and got the first aid kit out.
My hands were shaking while cleaning and applying the ointment on Gray's wounds, he was in pain, a lot of pain. He flinched everytime I applied the ointment. I made it quick and wrapped bandages all over his bruises and wounds.
Gray looked in so much pain, and watching him like that was hurting me.
‘I can't give up like this, I've to heal him. I've to surpass my limits.’ I thought as I clenched my fists and tried to heal Gray again. I grabbed his hand again and used my spell.
“Healing Winds!”
The winds started to blow, I was very low on magic, but there was no other option for me. I was taking short breathes as sweat drops started to form on my forehead. This was bad, my magic circle was shrinking.
