61: Gems VS Meledy, The Battle For Love

Gems had joined Erza and Juvia in their search for other guild members. Gems was worried about Gray, since once Lucy's magic power goes out, Loke's gate would be closed and Gray would be alone.

“These explosions...” Gems said as he covered his ears while running.

“This doesn't bode well...” Juvia mumbled.

“Someone from our guild is fighting! Quick we need to find the others.” Erza yelled as she ran. They were running through shallow water. Gems cursed when his shoes got wet, Gray gifted him those.

“They're here...” Erza said as she stopped and summoned her sword, and suddenly masked men started to rain from the sky. And they had their own weapons with them. “Gems! Juvia! Stay on guard!” Erza ordered as they stood with their backs against each other.

“Such numbers...” Juvia mumbled.

‘How I wish Gray was here, we would've beaten all these losers with a single unison spell!’ Gems thought as he looked there and looked a bit tensed.

Erza jumped and started attacking them.

“Water Lock!” Juvia used her magic and drowned them.

“Wind Blade!” Gems didn't hold back either, but he was running low on magic after restoring Levy's strength.

“These guys have us occupied, we can't search for other like this!” Erza complained.

“Oh what if Gray Cherie is surrounded by enemies too!?” Juvia spoke with a sad look on his spoke.

“Would you stop giving him names?! I am worried about him, more than you are!” Gems clocked Juvia.

“Would you two focus!?” Erza yelled at the angrily. 

“Sorry!” They both spoke in unison, before they wiped out the remaining soldiers.

‘I'm already running out of magic, this is bad news...’ Gems thought as he took short breathes while they ran forward but Erza stopped again when she sensed someone.

In front of them stood a teenage girl, a little bit older than Wendy and a little bit younger than Gems. She had pink hair and was emitting a strong magic energy. “Enemy encountered during mission. Eliminate at once! Your destruction hereby takes top priority.” she spoke while looking directly into Gems's soul.

Gems shivered, as Juvia and Erza got infront of him.

“Who are you!? What is your goal!? Why are you here?” Erza asked.

“My name is Meledy, I'm one of the Seven Kin of Purgatory, what we seek is the Grand Magic World!” She answered.

“What's that?” Juvia asked.

“A true world of magic, ruled by chaos and darkness. In it, the ones without magic won't survive, and for the weaklings, it will be a living hell, and soon they'll perish too. And when Zeref becomes the ruler of this world, the Grand Magic World will be complete.” the enemy spoke.

‘The ones with low magic cannot survive? I am afraid... Will I die too?’ Gems thought as he took a step back in fear.

“Juvia Lockser, the former S-Class wizard of Phantom Lord, you're number 133.” Meledy spoke. “Erza Scarlet, the queen of Fairies and the strongest female in Fairy Tail, you're 26.” Meledy spoke, while others got confused.

“She has definitely done her homework on us.” Juvia mumbled as she got ready for battle, while Meledy was emitting a lot of magic energy.

“Gems D'Cruz... tortured by your parents, lived to see the next day. One of the weakest members of Fairy Tail. You're number two. Maguilty Swords!” She spoke while looking at Gems.
