76: Ice And Wind

Normal P.O.V

‘Why is Lyon here? Master Mavis didn't tell me about getting ambushed like this!?’ Gems thought as he got up while wearing back his glasses, which fell off due to an attack by Lyon. 

“We meet again, Gemsie!” Lyon said with smirk.

“Who the hell told you that you can call me that!?” Gems immediately replied because he didn't allow anyone except Gray to call him by that nick name which was given to him by Gray.

“Why don't you just surrender and give us the point? It'll be easier that way.” Lyon said, as he saw Gems struggling.

“No! Gray didn't fight for me to get this opportunity for me to just give up.” Gems replied.

“The last time we fought, you ran away. Did you forget?” Lyon asked. Lyon was starting to piss Gems off.

“Flying Tornado!” Gems wasn't playing around, he wanted to win and he immediately launched his attack on Lyon.

“Sky God Spiral!” Shelia used her defense spell and defended both, herself and Lyon from an incoming attack from Gems. Gems gritted his teeth in frustration.

“Gems we don't want to hurt you...” Shelia mumbled.

“Ice Make: Snow Tiger!”

“Ice Make: Ape!”

Gems's eyes widened when he saw Lyon launch two attacks at once. “Wind Slicer!” Gems used his magic directly, it cut the ice tiger in half, but the ice ape jumped from behind and attacked Gems.

“Wind Shield!”

Gems immediately put up his shield and blocked the punch thrown by the ape. Gems gasped when he heard Lyon making another tiger out of ice and that was charging right at him.

“Wind Shield!” Gems created another shield and blocked an head butt from the ice tiger, while Lyon was trying everything in his power, to strike down Gems. Gems was holding off two ice beasts while standing in between.

‘This is getting exhausting, I can't hold on for much longer...’ Gems thought. Gems let his shields go and instantly flew upwards in the sky, the ape and saber collided with each other and got destroyed.

The crowd cheered for Gems.

“You're not running away this time, Ice Make: Ice Dragon!” Lyon immediately created an Ice Dragon and launched it right at Gems, who was flying.

Gems's eyes widened as he saw an ice dragon approaching him at high speed. “Wind Shield!” Gems pulled up another shield, but that dragon was very strong. His shield didn't even last a second.

The crowd gasped as they saw Gems getting rammed into a building behind him by the dragon, making Gems yell in pain. Freed turned around while wincing in pain, he wasn't able to watch the beat down, while Happy and Charles gasped after watching that. Gems was in a heavy disadvantage.

Gems was surrounded by debris while wincing in pain. Gems struggled but somehow he managed to get up.

“Just give up Gems, we do not want to hurt you...” Shelia spoke as she stopped Lyon from launching another attack.

“I'm not giving up!” Gems yelled back as he managed to get on his feet. Gems got in the sky immediately, fighting through the pain. “Wind Drill!” Lavender winds covered Gems, and spiralled around him like a drill.

Lyon and Shelia was barely able to dodge that. But Gems turned around and flew towards them, like a boomerang.

“Sky God Boreas!”
