108: Gems VS Seth

Normal P.O.V

“Join my guild, Everlasting Fangs.” Seth spoke with a straight face, while Gems just frowned.

“The hell with you and your guild.” Gems replied instantly, he was not buying it. “I am a member of Fairy Tail, and I will never join a dark guild!” he added as he showed Seth his guild mark.

Seth just scoffed.

“Foolish.”

“Look, I am gonna say it nicely. Don't ever even think about hurting Gray.” Gems replied. “And the real fool is you, trying to make me join your guild, which is clearly never going to happen.” he added.

“Joining my guild is the only way you'd ever be able to save your parents and your boyfriend.” Seth laughed. Gems gritted his teeth in anger, he didn't like the fact that he had to deal with Seth on a fine winter morning.

“The ball's in your court now, its your choice how you wanna play.” Seth spoke in a low tone as he got closer to Gems.

Seth immediately grabbed Gems by his neck and glared daggers into his eyes. “Because at the end, I will get what I want. By hook or by crook. Its already set in stone.” Seth spoke in a vicious tone, sending shivers down Gems's spine.

Gems just stood there clenching his fists in anger. He knew his parents were in danger and he can't take any steps without thinking.

Suddenly the back door opened and Seth immediately disappeared.

Gray came out yawning.

“Gemsie? Was someone here?” Gray spoke while yawning. Gems immediately got back in his posture and calmed himself down. He cursed Seth in his thoughts as he turned around. “I swear I heard you talking.” he added.

Gems just walked upto Gray while shaking his head no.

“No, I was admiring the nature and talking to myself.” Gems said while sporting a fake smile and cursed himself for lying to Gray of all people.

“If you say so...?” Gray mumbled. “Get inside, you'll catch a cold.” Gray added as he pulled Gems inside and closed the backdoor.

Gems didn't say anything and just hugged the older male. Gray didn't ask anything and hugged back Gems.

“Are you feeling cold?” Gray asked concerned.

“No, its not that cold either, summer is just around the corner... I just wanted to hug you.” Gems said taking a deep breathe. There was so much he wanted to tell Gray, but he was trapped.

“Just hold me for a while, please?” Gems wrapped his arms around Gray, resting his head on his neck.

“You okay baby?”

“Yes... I just miss my parents a little extra today.”

Gray tightened his hug, while pecking Gems on his forehead.

“Its alright, I am here.”

“Can we stay like this for a little longer?”

“Even though I am hungry, my answer will still be yes.”

Just like that a few more months passed, Gray would go onto missions while Gems would stay back. They were nearing almost a year since they arrived in the village. All these months, but Gems never heard from Seth even once.

Every time Gray came back from his missions, Gems would check whether he returned safely or not. And much to Gems's satisfaction, Gray would be safe and sound.
